Delta Secondary School (Hamilton, Ontario)
Delta Secondary School was a Canadian high school in Hamilton, Ontario. Built in 1925, it was one of the oldest high schools in the city. It was located on 1284 Main Street East, and is connected to the Delta Honeybears Daycare. The school had an estimated enrollment of 841 students and is part of the Hamilton-Wentworth District School Board. The city of Warri is an oil hub within South-South Nigeria and houses an annex of the Delta State Government House. Warri City is one of the major hubs of the petroleum industry in Nigeria. Warri and her twin city, Uvwie are the commercial capital of Delta State with a population of over 311,970 people in 2006. The city is the indigenous territory of Urhobo, itsekiri and Ijaw people. Delta Secondary is a public high school in Ladner, British Columbia, Canada. DSS is located in the historic village of Ladner, B.C. With a student enrolment of approximately 1,150 students (grades 8 to 12), it is the third-largest school in School District 37 Delta. History King George V High School, the first high school in Delta, was located on the present site of the Ladner Community Centre. The first two rooms of the school were built in 1912, with a third room added in 1916. The school closed in 1938 having had almost 500 students graduate during the life of the school. In 1938, Delta Central School, originally built in 1926 and used as an elementary school (grade 1–8), was enlarged and updated for senior students while a new elementary school was built on the same plot of land, the site of DSS today. Delta Secondary School Windhoek (DSSW) (german: Delta Oberschule Windhoek, DOSW) previously known as ''Deutsche Oberschule Windhoek'', is a government secondary school in Namibia. Situated in the capital Windhoek, it was separated from its younger counterpart Delta School Windhoek (DSW), formerly known as ''German School Windhoek'', in January 1975. Bukit Merah Secondary School (BMSS) is a co-educational government secondary school in Bukit Merah, Singapore. BMSS has established itself as a Value-Added school since 1993, offering the Express, Normal Academic and Normal Technical streams leading to a Singapore-Cambridge GCE Ordinary Level or Singapore-Cambridge GCE Normal Level certificate. North Delta Secondary is a public high school in Delta, British Columbia, Canada. It is part of School District 37 Delta. North Delta Secondary School, when it was opened in 1957, was originally a secondary school designed to accommodate approximately 550 students. At that time it was the second secondary school in Delta and eliminated the need for students in the north of Delta to commute south to Delta Senior Secondary in Ladner. It housed grade 8 to grade 12 students and continued to be a five-grade secondary school until 1975. In the early 1970s, due to new construction and population increases in the community, Burnsview Junior Secondary and Sands Junior Secondary joined Delview Junior Secondary as the three feeder schools to North Delta. South Delta Secondary School
South Delta Secondary (SDSS) is a public high school in Tsawwassen, British Columbia, Canada. There are approximately 1,500 students enrolled in each grade 8 through 12 (as of 2019/2020). Graduation rates in the years 2005 to 2010 vary between 95% and 99%. SDSS feeder schools include all the public elementary schools in Tsawwassen: South Park, Cliff Drive, Beach Grove, English Bluff and Pebble Hill. The school is near Dennison Park, and outdoor gym classes often occur there rather than on school grounds. SDSS shares its track with South Park Elementary School, and hosts the district and regional Track and Field events.
