Dallas Green (musician)
Dallas Michael John Albert Green (born September 29, 1980) is a Canadian musician, singer, songwriter and record producer who records under the name City and Colour. He is also known for his contributions as a singer, rhythm guitarist, songwriter and co-founder of the post-hardcore band Alexisonfire. In 2005, he debuted his first full-length album, ''Sometimes'', which achieved platinum certification in 2006. City and Colour began performing in small intimate venues between Alexisonfire tours. The name ''City and Colour'' comes from his own name: ''Dallas'', a city, and ''Green'', a colour. Fucked Up
Fucked Up is a Canadian hardcore punk band from Toronto, Ontario, formed in 2001. The band consists of guitarists Mike Haliechuk and Josh Zucker, bassist Sandy Miranda, lead vocalist Damian Abraham and drummer Jonah Falco. From 2007 to 2021, the band also included guitarist and vocalist Ben Cook. To date, the band has released nine studio albums, alongside numerous EPs, singles, and companion releases. Every Time I Die was an American metalcore band from Buffalo, New York, formed in 1998. For most of the band's career, the line-up was centred on brothers Keith (vocals) and Jordan Buckley (guitar), as well as rhythm guitarist Andy Williams, with bassist Stephen Micciche also being in the band for a cumulative 15 of the band's 24 years. Daniel Victor (born September 20, 1979) is a Canadian recording artist and producer from Windsor, Ontario, best known for the collaborative music project Neverending White Lights, which features instrumentation performed mostly by Victor, with guest singers providing vocals for most of the songs. Early life Victor was born in Canada to an Italian father and Argentinian mother, and raised in southern Ontario. His father was a musician and performer, and exposed him to music from an early age. He began studying the piano at age six, under the direction of nuns at a local conservatory. After five years, he quit piano lessons to play by ear and compose freely. He taught himself a range of instruments and began singing. ''Crisis'' is the third studio album from Canadian post-hardcore band Alexisonfire, released on August 22, 2006. Background and production On June 17, 2005, the band announced that drummer Jesse Ingelevics had been replaced with Jordan Hastings of Jersey. Ingelevics left citing personal reasons, while the rest of the band said they had been growing apart; Hastings had been drumming with the band for a period of time. Recording was held at Metalworks and Silo Recording Studio in February and March 2006, with Julius Butty and the band producing the sessions. Engineer Nick Blagona was assisted by Giancarlo Gallo (who also served as the Pro Tools operator) and Brent Withcomnb; Marco Bressette performed some editing at Silo. Butty, with the aid of Withcomnb mixed the recordings, before they were mastered by Joao Carvalho at Joao Carvalho Mastering later in March 2006. The cover art was photographed by lead singer George Pettit at Ferndale Public School in St. Catharines, Ontario. It is based on the lyrics from "A Dagger Through the Heart of St. Angeles".
