The Roman Catholic Diocese of Pasig (; ) is the diocese of the Latin Church of the Catholic Church in the Philippines that comprises the cities of Pasig and Taguig (with the exception of the Embo barangays that were previously part of Makati which are under the jurisdiction of Archdiocese of Manila and Fort Bonifacio which are under the jurisdiction of Military Ordinariate of the Philippines), and the municipality of Pateros, in Metro Manila, Philippines. It was established by Pope John Paul II on June 28, 2003, by virtue of the papal bull ''Dei Caritas''. It was formally and canonically erected on August 21, 2003, with the installation of Francisco C. San Diego as its first bishop. Immaculate Conception Cathedral, commonly known as Pasig Cathedral, is a Roman Catholic church located in Plaza Rizal, Barangay Malinao, Pasig in Metro Manila, Philippines. It is the mother church, and serves as the episcopal seat of the Diocese of Pasig, Bishop of Pasig and is one of the oldest structures in the city. The church was founded as a parish by the Order of Saint Augustine, Augustinian missionaries on July 2, 1573, coinciding with the foundation of the town of Pasig. Initially, the parish was consecrated to the Visitation of Our Lady, but on April 25, 1587, was changed to Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception, the patroness of the Augustinians, Augustinian priests during that time. Crisostomo Ayson Yalung (born December 3, 1953) is a former Roman Catholic bishop from the Philippines. He was the second Bishop of Antipolo, serving from December 3, 2001, to October 19, 2002.
