Deluxe (musical Group)
Deluxe is a French band formed in 2007 in Aix-en-Provence. Biography Deluxe was discovered by the band Chinese Man in 2007 in Aix-en-Provence, where they were performing on public streets. Deluxe started as 3 childhood friends who were passionate about music, and eventually became a group of five after adding Soubri and Pepe to the lineup in 2007. In December 2010 the band met a singer/rapper named Liliboy with whom they collaborated, and eventually added to the band's lineup full-time. With the addition of Liliboy, the band became a more successful live act in France and other nearby European countries. The Roots
The Roots are an American Hip-hop, hip hop band formed in 1987 by singer Black Thought, Tariq "Black Thought" Trotter and drummer Questlove, Ahmir "Questlove" Thompson in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Musical Instrument Digital Interface (; MIDI) is an American-Japanese technical standard that describes a communication protocol, digital interface, and electrical connectors that connect a wide variety of electronic musical instruments, computers, and related audio devices for playing, editing, and recording music. A single MIDI cable can carry up to sixteen channels of MIDI data, each of which can be routed to a separate device. Each interaction with a key, button, knob or slider is converted into a MIDI event, which specifies musical instructions, such as a note's pitch, timing and velocity. Matthieu Chedid
Matthieu Chedid (born 21 December 1971) is a French multi-instrumentalist and singer-songwriter. Chedid began his career as a session musician playing both acoustic and electric guitar. In the late 1990s, he rose to fame as a singer-songwriter and musician under the alias M (often stylized as -M-), blending Nouvelle Chanson, electronic and rock music. In studio, he experiments with various instruments and electronic music, while on tour as -M- he mostly plays the guitar, and is known for his eccentric outfits and dramatic live performances, sometimes including special effects. Julian Edwin "Cannonball" Adderley (September 15, 1928August 8, 1975) was an American jazz Alto saxophone, alto saxophonist of the hard bop era of the 1950s and 1960s. Adderley is perhaps best remembered by the general public for the 1966 soul jazz single "Mercy, Mercy, Mercy", which was written for him by his keyboardist Joe Zawinul and became a major crossover hit on the Billboard Hot 100, pop and Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs, R&B charts. Chinese Man is a French trip hop band formed in 2004 and originally from Aix-en-Provence, Provence-Alps-French Riviera. History They are influenced by hip hop, funk, dub, reggae and jazz. Chinese Man is composed of DJ Marseille Zé Mateo and High Ku and beatmaker SLY. Beatmakers Leo le Bug and Le Yan also revolve around the group and participate in the composition of several pieces.
