Danny Van Trijp
Danny van Trijp (born 24 December 1996) is a Dutch darts player who plays in Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) events. He won two titles on the 2022 PDC Challenge Tour. Career Van Trijp attended European Q-School in 2019, but never got farther than the last 16, missing out on a PDC Tour Card. He did then qualify as one of the Associate Member qualifiers for the 2019 European Darts Open in Leverkusen, Germany. However, he lost 6–3 to Adam Hunt in the first round. He also qualified for the 2019 Dutch Darts Masters. In the first round he won 6–5 against Keegan Brown, but was defeated 6–2 by Ricky Evans in the second round. Van Trijp made his Players Championship debut on 3 August 2019. He lost in the first round to David Pallett 6–5. Etten-Leur
Etten-Leur () is a Municipalities of the Netherlands, municipality in the Dutch province North Brabant. Its name is a combination of the two villages from which the municipality originally arose: Etten and Leur. History The villages were always part of one municipality, originally called "Etten c.a." (cum annexis), this later to change to "Etten en Leur". The current name was adopted in 1968. By that time, the villages had grown into one. Both villages, created in the Middle Ages, were relatively prosperous during the period of the Dutch Republic, the exception being the period of the Eighty Years' War in which the area was a major battleground. This prosperity was caused by the fact that Etten was a centre for the production of peat, and Leur was a local trading port, as it had a harbour. 2019 Dutch Darts Masters
The 2019 Dutch Darts Masters was the seventh of thirteen PDC European Tour events on the 2019 PDC Pro Tour. The tournament took place at IJsselhallen, Zwolle, Netherlands, from 24 to 26 May 2019. It featured a field of 48 players and £140,000 in prize money, with £25,000 going to the winner. Michael van Gerwen was the defending champion after defeating Steve Lennon 8–5 in the final of the 2018 tournament. However, Ian White ended Van Gerwen's five-year winning run in the tournament by beating him 8–7 in the final to win his third European Tour title. The result also ended Van Gerwen's 28-game winning streak in European Tour last-leg deciders. 2022 PDC Pro Tour
The 2022 PDC Pro Tour was a series of non-televised darts tournaments organised by the Professional Darts Corporation (PDC). Players Championships and European Tour events are the events that make up the Pro Tour. There were thirty Players Championship events and thirteen PDC European Tour events, and after the split format last year, the Challenge and Development Tours returned as one big tour, rather than a UK/European split tour. Prize money The prize money for the Players Championship events rose from 2021 levels, with each event having a prize fund of £100,000. Jelle Klaasen (born 17 October 1984), nicknamed the Cobra, is a Dutch professional darts player who competes in Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) events. He previously participated in British Darts Organisation (BDO) tournaments, where in 2006, he became the youngest player to win the BDO World Darts Championship, aged 21 at the time. Lukas Wenig
Lukas Wenig (born 18 September 1994) is a professional German darts player who competes in Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) events. Career Wenig qualified for his first PDC European Tour tournament in 2019, when he qualified for the 2019 German Darts Open, but he lost in the first round to Chris Dobey. Wenig has also qualified via different routes for the UK Open, reaching the third round in 2022 before losing to compatriot Florian Hempel. Teemu Harju
Teemu Harju (born 25 May 1992) is a Finland, Finnish professional darts player who currently plays in Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) and World Darts Federation (WDF) events. He won a silver medal at the WDF Europe Cup and represented Finland during the WDF World Cup and WDF Europe Cup. Career Harju was a prospective player. William Borland (darts Player)
William Borland (born 8 November 1996) is a Scottish darts player who competes in Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) events. He made the second round at the 2022 PDC World Championship, hitting a nine-dart finish in a last-leg decider against Bradley Brooks. He also reached the last 16 at both the 2018 BDO World Trophy and the 2021 European Championship. Boris Sergeevich Koltsov (; born 10 September 1988) is a Russian darts player who plays in events of the Professional Darts Corporation (PDC). Career BDO In September 2014, Koltsov reached the semi-finals of the WDF Europe Cup beating Jeffrey Van Egdom, Remco van Eijden, Thomas Junghans, Daniel Larsson and Ross Montgomery along the way before losing to Darius Labanauskas 6–3. UK Open
The Ladbrokes UK Open is a ranking major darts tournament held annually at the Butlins Minehead Resort by the Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) in England. The event is often referred to as the "FA Cup of darts" as it has an unseeded open draw made after each round, and entry is open to players at all levels of darts. One-hundred-and-sixty players compete in the multi-board event over eight-stages before the PDC’s Top 32 enter the tournament in the fourth round. Steve Beaton
Steve Beaton (born 5 April 1964) is an English former professional darts player who competes in World Seniors Darts (WSD) events. Nicknamed "the Bronzed Adonis", Beaton formerly formerly competed in British Darts Organisation (BDO), World Darts Federation (WDF) and Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) tournaments. He is a former BDO World Champion, having won the 1996 World Championship. He was ranked BDO world number one in 1993 and 1994. Before switching to the PDC in 2001, Beaton won the 1993 World Masters, the 1995 and 1996 Dutch Opens, and also achieved success in the WDF Europe Cup and WDF World Cup. Simon Stevenson (born 18 February 1972) is an English darts player who competes in Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) events. Career Stevenson first rose to prominence after winning the Rileys Plymouth qualifier for the 2014 UK Open. He defeated Ian Jones, Jason Lovett, Mark Barilli and Rocco Maes to reach the last 32 before losing 9–5 to Jamie Lewis.
