D. J. Jones (defensive Lineman)
David Oliver "D. J." Jones (born January 19, 1995) is an American football nose tackle for the Denver Broncos of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Ole Miss. Jones was drafted by the San Francisco 49ers in the sixth round of the 2017 NFL Draft. College career After impressive years throughout high school, Jones was heavily recruited for football by colleges throughout the U.S. Jones began his college career at the East Mississippi Community College in Scooba, Mississippi, the school that was featured in the 2016 Netflix documentary "Last Chance U". As a two-year starter during his two seasons, Jones helped guide East Mississippi to a perfect 24–0 record and two NJCAA national championships. Nose Tackle
A defensive tackle (DT) is a position in American football that will typically line up on the line of scrimmage, opposite one of the offensive guards, however he may also line up opposite one of the tackles. Defensive tackles are typically the largest and strongest of the defensive players. Depending on a team's individual defensive scheme, a defensive tackle may be called upon to fill several different roles. These roles may include merely holding the point of attack by refusing to be moved, or penetrating a certain gap between offensive linemen to break up a play in the opponent's backfield. If a defensive tackle reads a pass play, his primary responsibility is to pursue the quarterback, or simply knock the pass down at the line if it is within arm's reach. 2019 Cleveland Browns Season
The 2019 season was the Cleveland Browns' 67th in the National Football League (NFL), their 71st overall, their second full season under general manager John Dorsey and their only season under head coach Freddie Kitchens. They finished 6–10 despite entering the season with high expectations, failing to improve on their 7–8–1 record from 2018 or end their franchise-record and league-high 16-year playoff drought. 2019 Carolina Panthers Season
The 2019 season was the Carolina Panthers' 25th in the National Football League (NFL), and their ninth and last under head coach Ron Rivera. Kyle Allen
Kyle Allen (born March 8, 1996) is an American football quarterback for the Houston Texans of the National Football League (NFL). A native of Scottsdale, Arizona, he played high school football at Desert Mountain and was among the top football players of his class. He played college football at Texas A&M before transferring to Houston in 2016. Allen signed with the Carolina Panthers as an undrafted free agent following graduation in 2018.
