Curt Byrum
Curt Allen Byrum (born December 28, 1958) is an American professional golfer who has played on the PGA Tour and the Nationwide Tour. He is the older brother of PGA Tour golfer Tom Byrum. Byrum was born and raised in Onida, South Dakota. He learned to play golf on a nine-hole course that he and brother Tom used to mow. He was an exceptionally talented athlete in high school in both football and basketball. Byrum attended the University of New Mexico and was a member of the golf team. He turned pro in 1982 and joined the PGA Tour in 1983. Byrum has spent time playing on the PGA Tour and the Nationwide Tour. He has 19 top-10 finishes in PGA Tour events and 18 top-10 finishes in Nationwide Tour events. Like his brother, he won once on the PGA Tour; and also like his brother, that win came in 1989. Brian Tennyson
Brian Tennyson (born July 10, 1962) is a retired American golfer. Tennyson was born in Evansville, Indiana. He played college golf at Ball State University. He was twice named as an NCAA All-American in 1982 and 1983; in 1984, the Golf Coaches Association named him an All-American. He was a three-time All-Mid-American Conference, MAC golfer (1982-84) and the team MVP in 1982 and 1984. He led the Cardinals to the 1982 Conference title, he tied for first but lost in the playoff. Tennyson turned professional in 1984. He played on the Asia Golf Circuit, winning twice in 1987. He played on the PGA Tour from 1988 to 1992. Showdown Classic
The Uniting Fore Care Classic was a golf tournament on the Champions Tour from 1982 to 2002. It was played in Park City, Utah, at the Jeremy Ranch Golf Club (1982–1992) and the Park Meadows Golf Club (1993–2002). It was played at stroke play each year except in 2002 when it used a Modified Stableford scoring system. From 1983 to 1986, it was an unofficial tournament that paired a Senior PGA Tour player with a PGA Tour player in a two-man best-ball format. Seven-time PGA Tour winner Bert Yancey died of a heart attack shortly before he was to tee it up in the 1994 edition of the tournament which was eventually won by his friend, Tom Weiskopf. Sean Murphy (golfer)
Sean Patrick Murphy (born August 17, 1965) is an American professional golfer who has played on the PGA Tour and the Nationwide Tour. Amateur career Murphy was born in Des Moines, Iowa. His father got him started with golf at age 6. He was the New Mexico High School Champion in 1982 and 1984, and American Junior Golf Association Southwest Champion in 1983. He attended the University of New Mexico and was the Western Athletic Conference Player of the Year in 1988. Professional career Murphy turned professional in 1988. Tommy Moore (golfer)
Thomas Edward Moore (December 23, 1962 – May 24, 1998) was an American professional golfer. Moore was born in New Orleans, Louisiana. He had a decorated junior golf career, ranking #1 in the Junior Golf World Rankings in 1980 (Golf Digest). Moore played college golf at Oklahoma State where he was a teammate of Scott Verplank, Willie Wood, and Philip Walton. He won two events and was an All-American in 1982, 1983 and 1984 and helped his team win the NCAA Championship in 1983. He was also the program's 1st Academic All-American in 1984. Jim Laver Carter (born June 24, 1961) is an American professional golfer who plays on the Champions Tour. He has also played on the PGA Tour and the Nationwide Tour. Biography Carter was born in Spring Lake, North Carolina. As a high school senior, he led Mesa High's boys golf team to an Arizona state championship in 1979. The Utah Championship presented by Zions Bank is a professional golf tournament on the Korn Ferry Tour, played at Oakridge Country Club in Farmington, Utah. One of the original tournaments of the 1990 Ben Hogan Tour as the Utah Classic, the tournament has been played every year but two (1997, 1998). The first seven (1990–1996) were played in Provo at Riverside Country Club and the next sixteen (1999–2014) at Willow Creek in Sandy. Formerly played in early September, the tournament moved to late July in 2011 and to mid-July in 2012. It moved to Thanksgiving Point Golf Club in Lehi in 2015, a few miles north of Utah Lake and along the Jordan River. Stan Utley
Stanley Frank Utley (born January 16, 1962) is an American professional golfer who has played on the PGA Tour, Nationwide Tour, and Champions Tour. Early life and education Utley was born and raised in Thayer, a small town in southern Missouri. He attended the University of Missouri where he was a distinguished member of the golf team, a three-time all- Big Eight selection and two-time All-American. Utley led Missouri to the Big Eight Championship in 1984. He also led the Tigers to two NCAA appearances where they placed 13th and 14th respectively, in 1983 and 1984. Esteban Toledo
Esteban Toledo (born 10 September 1962) is a Mexican professional golfer, who was a member of the PGA Tour in 1994 and 1998–2004 and has also spent many years playing on the second tier Nationwide Tour (now known as Korn Ferry Tour). At present, he competes on the PGA Tour Champions. Toledo was born in Mexicali, Mexico. Before taking up professional golf, Toledo was a boxer. His sole victory on the Nationwide Tour came at the 2005 Lake Erie Charity Classic at Peek 'n Peak Resort. He also won the 2000 Mexican Open.
