The United Counties of Prescott and Russell (french: Comtés unis de Prescott et Russell) are consolidated counties located in the Canadian province of Ontario. Its county seat is L'Orignal. L'École Secondaire Catholique d'Embrun is a French-language Catholic high school located in Embrun, Ontario. It is managed by the Conseil scolaire de district catholique de l'Est ontarien. History The ESCE's original location was situated next to the post office, across the road from Paroise St-Jacques and École Élémentaire Catholique Embrun`s Pavillon St-Jean. When the new building was erected, the original was demolished. This is why there is such a large parking lot for the post office. Casselman is a village in eastern Ontario, Canada, in the United Counties of Prescott and Russell. Situated on the South Nation River about southeast of downtown Ottawa, along the Trans-Canada Highway 417. It is served by a station on the Montreal-Ottawa Via Rail train, twice a day in each direction. Casselman is surrounded on all sides by The Nation since Casselman citizens refused to join the fusion of municipalities. The village was named after Martin Casselman who built a sawmill near the site of the current town in 1844. Its post office was established in 1857. The village installed modern water and sewer services that became operational in 1977.
