Congressional Districts Of South Carolina
There are currently seven United States congressional districts in South Carolina. There have been as few as four and as many as nine congressional districts in South Carolina. The and the were lost after the 1840 Census. Because the state exceeded the nation's average population growth in the 2010 Census, South Carolina regained its 7th district, which had remained unused since the Civil War. The and the were also briefly lost after the Civil War, but both had been regained by the 1880 Census. Springdale is a town in Lexington County, South Carolina, United States. The population was 2,636 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Columbia Metropolitan Statistical Area. Geography Springdale is located at (33.960952, -81.109895). According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 4.0 square miles (10.5 km2), of which 4.0 square miles (10.4 km2) is land and 0.04 square mile (0.1 km2) (0.74%) is water. Demographics As of the census of 2000, there were 2,877 people, 1,206 households, and 869 families residing in the town. The population density was 718.8 people per square mile (277.7/km2). There were 1,334 housing units at an average density of 333.3 per square mile (128.8/km2). Rock Hill, South Carolina
Rock Hill is the largest city in York County, South Carolina and the fifth-largest city in the state. It is also the fourth-largest city of the Charlotte metropolitan area, behind Charlotte, Concord, and Gastonia (all located in North Carolina, unlike Rock Hill). Ralph Warren Norman Jr. (born June 20, 1953) is an American real estate developer and politician serving as the U.S. representative for since 2017. William Richardson Timmons IV (born April 30, 1984) is an American attorney, entrepreneur and politician serving as the U.S. representative for since 2019. His district is in the heart of the Upstate and includes Greenville, Spartanburg, and most of their suburbs.
