Harry Comte
William Henry James Comte (10 March 1909 – 30 May 1945) was an Australian rules footballer who played with St Kilda in the Victorian Football League (VFL), and Sandringham in the Victorian Football Association (VFA) during the 1930s. He fought in World War II with the 2/24th Battalion, Second A.I.F., and died of wounds sustained in action during the 1945 Battle of Tarakan. Franche-Comté (, ; ; Frainc-Comtou: ''Fraintche-Comtè''; frp, Franche-Comtât; also german: Freigrafschaft; es, Franco Condado; all ) is a cultural and historical region of eastern France. It is composed of the modern departments of Doubs, Jura, Haute-Saône and the Territoire de Belfort. In 2016, its population was 1,180,397. From 1956 to 2015, the Franche-Comté was a French administrative region. Since 1 January 2016, it has been part of the new region Bourgogne-Franche-Comté. The region is named after the ' (Free County of Burgundy), definitively separated from the region of Burgundy proper in the fifteenth century. Raphaël Comte (born 28 September 1979) is a Swiss lawyer and politician. He has served as a member of the Council of States from 1 March 2010 to 1 December 2019, and was its president from 2015 to 2016. A member of the Swiss delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe since 2012, Comte serves as member of the Committee on Legal Affairs and Human Rights and the Committee on Culture, Science, Education and Media. In addition, he is currently the Assembly's rapporteur on human rights in Ukraine as well as on the protection and preservation of Jewish heritage sites. |

Pere Comte (also spelled Pere Compte; died 1506) was a Spanish architect from Girona. He was one of the main Gothic architects of the Aragonese court of the period, and in particular in Valencia, where he directed the construction of numerous palaces. Pere Compte is considered a master of the Valencian Gothic art. Comte's works include the Convent of St. Dominic (1454–1457), together with Francesc Baldomar, the restoration of the Torres de Quart (1468), a chapel in the church of Sant Nicolau (1476), the crossing of the Cathedral of Orihuela and the Llotja de la Seda (1483–1498). He also directed or created the works of other important buildings as the Cathedral of Valencia from 1479, the Tortosa Cathedral, from 1490. He performed for Louis XVIII at the Tuileries Palace and was made a Chevalier de la Légion d'Honneur by Louis-Philippe. Fernando Compte (26 December 1930 – 8 September 2013) was a Spanish wrestling enthusiast who became president of the Spanish Wrestling Association and secretary general of the International Amateur Wrestling Federation (FILA). In 1984 he was the founder and first president of the Fédération Internationale de Sambo (International Sambo Federation). Career Compte was born in 1930 in Barcelona, but lived in Madrid for many years apart from a period in Venezuela. Compte became president of the Spanish Wrestling Federation in 1970. On 21 July 1977 he was reelected president of the Spanish Wrestling Federation in competition with Daniel Ochoa. He married Eva Balle in 1978, and they had three children.
