Compton (also known as Mégantic—Compton—Stanstead) was a federal electoral district in Quebec, Canada, that was represented in the House of Commons of Canada from 1867 to 1949, and again from 1968 to 1997. History Compton was created by the British North America Act of 1867. It consisted of the Townships of Compton, Westbury, Eaton, Clifton, Hereford, and Augmentation, Bury, Newport, Auckland, Lingwick, Hampden, Ditton, Winslow, Whitton, Marston, Chesham and part of the Township of Clinton. Compton is a city in southern Los Angeles County, California, United States, situated south of downtown Los Angeles. Collingham is a village and civil parish south-west of Wetherby in West Yorkshire, England. It is in the City of Leeds metropolitan borough. The population of the civil parish as of the 2011 census was 2,991. It sits in the Harewood ward of Leeds City Council and Elmet and Rothwell parliamentary constituency.
