Colo (volcano)
Colo is a stratovolcano in Indonesia. It forms the small island of Una-Una at the middle of the Gulf of Tomini, the northern part of Sulawesi. The volcano is broad and has a low profile with only above the sea level. It contains a wide caldera with a small volcanic cone inside. Only three eruptions have been recorded in the history with two of them causing damage. 1898 eruption The eruption had a VEI of 3, qualifying as 'severe'. Nando Bruno Alfred Andre de Colo (born 23 June 1987) is a French professional basketball player for ASVEL of the French LNB Pro A and the EuroLeague. Standing at a height of , he plays at the point guard and shooting guard positions. A six-time All-EuroLeague selection, de Colo won the EuroLeague title in 2016 and 2019 with CSKA Moscow, earning both the EuroLeague MVP and Final Four MVP awards in the process. ''Citrus macrophylla'', also known as alemow, is a citrus tree and fruit, belonging to the papedas. The trees are short in stature, more tropical in nature than most citrus, and are very spiny. Taxonomy Alemow is rare and poorly studied, a likely hybrid between the citron and biasong (''C. micrantha''). The large fruits are considered inedible by local populations, though the plants are infrequently cultivated for medicinal and other uses. Colo (December 22, 1956 – January 17, 2017) was a western gorilla widely known as the first gorilla to be born in captivity anywhere in the world and the oldest known gorilla in the world in 2017. Colo was born at the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium to Millie Christina (mother) and Baron Macombo (father), and lived there for her entire life. She was briefly called "Cuddles" before a contest was held to officially name her. (Mrs. Howard Brannon of Zanesville, Ohio, won the contest.) Zeno Colò
Zeno Colò (30 June 1920 – 12 May 1993) was a champion alpine ski racer from Italy. Born in Cutigliano, Tuscany, he was among the top ski racers of the late 1940s and early 1950s. Career At the World Championships in 1950 in Aspen, he won gold medals in both downhill and giant slalom, and the silver in slalom. Two years later, at the 1952 Olympics in Oslo, he won gold in the downhill, and finished fourth in the giant slalom and slalom. Italy waited two decades for its next Olympic gold in alpine skiing, Gustav Thöni's win in giant slalom in 1972. Colò won the Lauberhorn downhill in Wengen in 1948, and took the slalom title there in 1949 and 1950. Following his near-sweep at Aspen in 1950, he also won all three North American titles in downhill, slalom, and combined the following week in Canada at Mt Norquay near Banff, Alberta.
