Coke Studio (India)
Coke Studio India, officially titled Coke Studio @ MTV is an Indian television programme, which features live studio-recorded music performances by various artists. Coke Studio combines myriad musical influences, from Hindustani, Carnatic and Indian folk, to contemporary hip hop, rock and pop music. It is inspired by the Pakistani show of the same name. Season 1 premièred on 17 June 2011 on MTV India. Season 2 premiered on 7 July 2012 on MTV India DD National. Season 3 premiered 17 August 2013 on MTV India, Big FM and DD National. Samar Khan
Samar Khan is a Pakistani Cycling, cyclist. She is the first woman in the world to ride cycle on 4,500 meters Biafo Glacier in the Karakoram Mountains of Gilgit-Baltistan, Gilgit Baltistan. It is the longest-running annual television music show in Pakistan, running annually since 2008. Salim–Sulaiman
Salim–Sulaiman is an Indian score composer duo consisting of siblings Salim Merchant and Sulaiman Merchant. The duo compose music predominantly for Hindi films. Life and early career Salim–Sulaiman's ancestral town is Mundra, Kutch, Gujarat. They were born in Mumbai. Salim Merchant was born on 3 March 1974 and Sulaiman Merchant was born on 21 December 1970. Amit Trivedi (born 8 April 1979) is an Indian music director, singer and a lyricist who works primarily in Hindi films. After working as a theatre and jingle composer and composing for non-film albums, he debuted as a film composer in the 2008 Hindi film '' Aamir'', he gained prominence for his work in the Hindi film ''Dev.D'' (2009). Advaita (band)
Advaita are an Indian fusion band based in New Delhi, formed in 2004. History In March 2009, Advaita released their first album with EMI titled ''Grounded in Space''. In 2011, Advaita was featured on the Indian leg of the MTV shows '' Coke Studio'' and ''MTV Unplugged''. The band released their second album ''The Silent Sea'' in February 2012 with EMI Records.
