Circuit de Lédenon is a motor racing circuit located next to the town of Lédenon, Gard, France, about northeast of Nîmes. It hosts FFSA GT Championship and French F4 Championship. History In 1970, two motor sport enthusiasts, Jean-Claude and Sylvie Bondurand, decided to build a circuit in the town of Lédenon. The circuit was approved for use on June 16, 1973. The 2001 French Formula Three Championship was the 34th running of the French Formula Three Championship. It began on 31 March at Nogaro and ended on 20 October at Magny-Cours after eleven races. Ryo Fukuda of Saulnier Racing won races at Nogaro, Lédenon, Spa, Le Mans, and Val de Vienne Magny-Cours, and had another two podiums on his way to the championship title. The 2014 FFSA GT Championship season was the eighteenth season of the FFSA GT Championship, the grand tourer-style sports car racing founded by the French automobile club Fédération Française du Sport Automobile. The season started on 26 April at Le Mans and ended on 26 October at Le Castellet after seven double-header meetings. The drivers' championship was won by IMSA Performance drivers Raymond Narac and Nicolas Armindo, finishing just two points of their nearest rivals, Henri Hassid and Mike Parisy. The Audi R8 (Type 42) is the first generation of the R8 sports car developed and manufactured by German automobile manufacturer Audi. Conceived in 2003 in concept form, the R8 was put into production in June 2006. The Type 42 is based on the Lamborghini Gallardo and shares its chassis and engine. Audi's parent company Volkswagen Group owns Lamborghini as well and components of both of the cars were shared mainly to save development costs. Group GT3, known technically as Cup Grand Touring Cars and commonly referred to as simply GT3, is a set of regulations maintained by the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA) for grand tourer racing cars designed for use in various auto racing series throughout the world.
