Karel Řehka
General Karel Řehka (born 1 February 1975 in Tišnov) is a Czech military leader who is the current Chief of the General Staff of the Military of the Czech Republic. Between 2010 and 2014, he was the commander of the 601st Special Forces Group. After leaving the army, he was the director of the National Cyber and Information Security Agency (NÚKIB) from March 2020 to June 2022. Biography Between 1989 and 1993 he graduated from the Military Gymnasium in Opava, then between 1993 and 1997 he studied reconnaissance at the Ground Forces College in Vyškov. Before graduating, he completed a one-year officer course at the Royal Military Academy in Sandhurst in the United Kingdom in 1996 as a foreign cadet. Vlastimil Picek (25 October 1956) is a Czech politician. He served as the Minister of Defence of the Czech Republic from March 2012 to January 2013. From 2007 to 2012, he was the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Czech Republic. He was the fourth person and the first member of Czech Air Force to serve at this position. Petr Pavel (born 1 November 1961) is a retired Czech army general who served as the Chair of the NATO Military Committee from 2015 to 2018, and as Chief of the General Staff of the Czech Army from 2012 to 2015. Jiří Šedivý (3 January 1953) is a retired Czech Army army general. He was the Chief of the General Staff of the Czech Army from 1 May 1998 to 30 November 2002. Early life and education Šedivý was born in Příbram. He attended the military gymnasium in Moravská Třebová and graduated from the Military University of the Ground Forces in Vyškov in 1975.
