Richard Stanton
Richard Stanton (October 8, 1876 – May 22, 1956) was an American actor and director of the silent era. He appeared in 68 films between 1911 and 1916. He also directed 57 films between 1914 and 1925. He was born in Iowa and died in Los Angeles, California. Stanton was described as a "handsome, musical fellow", but was also a capable pugilist, demonstrating his boxing skills to two other fighters he worked with in a film. Wanda Hawley
Wanda Hawley (born Selma Wanda Pittack; July 30, 1895 – March 18, 1963) was an American actress during the silent film era. She entered the theatrical profession with an amateur group in Seattle, and later toured the United States and Canada as a singer. She initially began in films acting with the likes of William Farnum, William S. Hart, Tom Mix, Douglas Fairbanks, and others. She co-starred with Rudolph Valentino in the 1922 ''The Young Rajah'', and rose to stardom in a number of Cecil B. DeMille's and director Sam Wood's films. Life and career Hawley was born Selma Wanda Pittack in Scranton, Pennsylvania, but together with her family moved to the Seattle, Washington area, when she was a child. Fanny Midgley (born Fanny B. Frier; November 26, 1879 – January 4, 1932) was an American film actress of Hollywood's early years, mostly in silent films. Biography Midgley was born Fanny B. Frier on November 26, 1879, in Cincinnati, Ohio. Midgley's work on stage included portraying Mopsa in the Broadway production ''The Free Lance'' (1906). Midgley's first feature film was ''Shorty Escapes Marriage'' (1914). In 1914 alone, she had 27 film appearances, including ''The Sheriff of Bisbee'', in which she starred with actress Mildred Harris, the future mother of Charlie Chaplin's first child. In 1885 Clark acted in a company at the San Francisco Bush Street Theatre. Ward appeared in more than 60 films between 1911 and 1925. Ward appeared in numerous silent films in the company of many stars, including her comic turn in the Rudolph Valentino-Clarence Brown directed classic ''The Eagle'' 1925. Ward was married to J.
