Polikarpov I-15
The Polikarpov I-15 (russian: И-15) was a Soviet biplane fighter aircraft of the 1930s. Nicknamed ''Chaika'' (''russian: Чайка'', "Seagull") because of its gulled upper wings,Gunston 1995, p. 299.Green and Swanborough 1979, p. 10. it was operated in large numbers by the Soviet Air Force, and together with the Polikarpov I-16 monoplane, was one of the standard fighters of the Spanish Republicans during the Spanish Civil War, where it was called Chato (snub-nose). Design and development The design for the 14th fighter for the VVS, the I-14, started as an advanced (for the era) monoplane under the direction of Andrei Tupolev. He grew concerned that the design would not mature, and ordered two backup biplane designs as the I-14A and B just to be safe. Liwayway Vinzons-Chato (born December 31, 1945) is a Filipino politician. A member of the Liberal Party, she was elected as a Member of the House of Representatives, representing the Lone District of Camarines Norte from 2007 to 2010. The Chato Murciano is a breed of domestic pig originating from Murcia, Spain. It is the only surviving breed of pig locally and historically produced in Murcia and is at the risk of extinction. Despite its danger of becoming extinct, the Chato Murciano is a well-managed pig known for its production of bacon and lean pork. Bill Jackson Tchato Mbiayi (born 14 May 1975) is a Cameroonian former professional footballer who played as a defender. He played for Caen, Valence, Nice, Montpellier, 1. FC Kaiserslautern, Qatar SC, Al-Khor and Strasbourg and Sapins. Tchato represented Cameroon at international level, making 46 appearances over an eight-year period, scoring one goal. Paul Chato is a Canadian comedian and writer, the president of a web design company, and a former television executive. He was born in 1954 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, to Hungarian parents. Chato grew up in the first planned community in North America, Don Mills. Graduating from Don Mills Collegiate in 1973, he went on to graduate from Ryerson Polytechnical Institute in Radio Television Arts. Osvaldo Peredo Leigue (also Osvaldo Peredo Leigh, ''nom de guerre'': Chato) (1941 – 12 January 2021) was a physician and a Bolivian revolutionary leader. He lived in Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia, where he was an alderman on the Municipal Council of Santa Cruz de la Sierra. Biography Peredo was born and grew up in Trinidad in Beni Department in northern Bolivia, and was strongly influenced by his older brothers who helped found the Bolivian Communist Party and were leaders in guerrilla movements.
