Chané
Chané is the collective name for the southernmost Arawakan-speaking peoples. They lived in the plains of the northern Gran Chaco and in the foothills of the Andes in Paraguay, Brazil, Bolivia, and Argentina. The historical Chané are divided into two principal groups. The Chané proper who lived in eastern Bolivia and the Guaná who lived in Paraguay and adjacent Brazil. Twenty-first century survivors of the Chané are the Izoceno people of Bolivia and 3,034 descendants reported in Argentina by the 2010 census. Survivors of the Guaná are the Tereno and the Kinikinao both of Mato Grosso do Sul province in Brazil. Most of the historical Chané were subjects of and absorbed by the Eastern Bolivian Guarani, commonly called Chiriguanos, while the Guaná were subjects of the Mbayá, a Guaycuruan speaking people. Chane Behanan
Chane Xavier Behanan ( ; born September 24, 1992) is an American professional basketball player for Santeros de Aguada of the Baloncesto Superior Nacional (BSN). Behanan, who won a, now vacated, NCAA title at Louisville, was going to transfer to Colorado State to redshirt the 2014–15 season but instead declared for the 2014 NBA draft in which he subsequently went undrafted. Early life and high school Behanan was born and mostly raised in Cincinnati, growing up in a troubled inner city neighborhood infested by the drug culture; one of his older brothers had been arrested on drug charges. He indicated in a 2012 interview that his time in that neighborhood drove him to succeed in basketball:I just have to stay at it. John Bryson Chane
John Bryson Chane (born May 13, 1944) is a retired bishop of the Episcopal Church. The eighth diocesan bishop of Washington, he was consecrated at Washington National Cathedral on June 1, 2002, leading the Episcopal Diocese of Washington until he retired in November 2011. During this time, he also served between June 2003 and April 2005 as interim dean of Washington National Cathedral.
