Calgary ( ) is the largest city in the western Canadian province of Alberta and the largest metro area of the three Prairie Provinces. Rocky View County
Rocky View County is a municipal district in southern Alberta, Canada that is named for its views of the nearby Rocky Mountains to the west. It surrounds most of Calgary, forming the city's northern boundary and most of the city's western and eastern boundaries. Prabjhote Kaur "Jyoti" Gondek (born 1969) is a Canadian politician serving as the 37th and current mayor of Calgary since October 25, 2021. Early life and education Born in London, England, Gondek is the daughter of Indian Punjabi Sikh parents Jasdev Singh Grewal, a lawyer, and Surjit Kaur Grewal. Jasmine Mian (born December 31, 1989 in Guelph, Ontario) is a politician and former Olympic wrestler from Canada. She won the bronze medal at the 48 kg event during the 2014 Commonwealth Games, and placed twelfth at the 2016 Summer Olympics. Sean Wen-Hsiang Chu (born 1962 or 1963) is a municipal politician who currently serves as councillor of Ward 4 in Calgary, Alberta. He was elected in the 2013 municipal election. Calgary, Mull
Calgary is a hamlet on the northwest coast of the Isle of Mull, in Argyll and Bute, Scotland, United Kingdom. The hamlet is within the parish of Kilninian and Kilmore. It was the origin of the name of Fort Calgary in Canada, which became the city of Calgary, Alberta. Geography Calgary is situated on the B8073 about west of Dervaig, and from the island's capital Tobermory.
