Caddy Works
Pierce "Caddy" Works (January 2, 1896 – July 19, 1982) was an American basketball and baseball coach. He was the head basketball coach at University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA)—known as the Southern Branch of the University of California until 1927—for 18 seasons, from 1921 to 1939, compiling a record of 173–159. Works was also the head baseball coach at Southern Branch from 1925 to 1926, tallying a mark of 23–14. Works was a lawyer by profession and coached the team only during the evenings. According to UCLA player and future Olympian Frank Lubin, Works was "more of an honorary coach" with little basketball knowledge. The Everett Range () is a rugged, mainly ice-covered range nearly long between Greenwell Glacier and Ebbe Glacier in northwest Victoria Land, Antarctica. Discovery and naming The Everett Range was mapped by the United States Geological Survey (USGS) from ground surveys and aerial photographs taken by the United States Navy in the period 1960–63. It was named by the United States Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names (US-ACAN) for Commander William H. Everett, U.S. Navy, Commander of Antarctic Squadron Six (VX-6), 1962–63. Location The Everett Range is in the Concord Mountains. Everett Spur is the northwest point, where the Ebbe Glacier meets the Lillie Glacier, which flows north along the west of the range. Microsoft Works is a discontinued office suite, productivity software suite developed by Microsoft and sold from 1987 to 2009. ''Works Volume 2'' is the sixth studio album by Emerson, Lake & Palmer, released on 25 November 1977. Unlike ''Works Volume 1'' (which consisted of three solo sides and one ensemble side), ''Works Volume 2'' was a single album compilation of leftover tracks from other album sessions, similar to the Who's '' Odds & Sods'' or Led Zeppelin's '' Coda''. While many derided the album for its apparent lack of focus, others praised it for showing a different side of the band than usual, with blues, bluegrass and jazz being very prominent as musical genres in this recording. The Alan Parsons Project
The Alan Parsons Project was a British rock music, rock duo formed in London in 1975. Its core membership consisted of producer, audio engineer, musician and composer Alan Parsons, and singer, songwriter and pianist Eric Woolfson. They shared writing credits on almost all of their songs, with Parsons producing or co-producing all of the recordings, while being accompanied by various session musicians, some relatively consistently. Patrick Bruce Metheny ( ; born August 12, 1954) is an American jazz guitarist and composer. He was the leader of the Pat Metheny Group (1977–2010) and continues to work in various small-combo, duet, and solo settings, as well as other side projects. His style incorporates elements of progressive and contemporary jazz, latin jazz, and jazz fusion. He has three gold albums and 20 Grammy Awards, and is the only person to have won Grammys in 10 categories. John Laird Abercrombie (December 16, 1944 – August 22, 2017) was an American jazz guitarist. His work explored jazz fusion, free jazz, and avant-garde jazz. Abercrombie studied at Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts. He was known for his understated style and his work with organ trios.
