The Uruguay Open is a tennis tournament held in Montevideo, Uruguay since 2005. Montevideo
Montevideo (, ; ) is the capital city, capital and List of cities in Uruguay, largest city of Uruguay. According to the 2023 census, the city proper has a population of 1,302,954 (about 37.2% of the country's total population) in an area of . Gastão José Ministro Elias (; born 24 November 1990) is a Portuguese professional tennis player, who competes on the ATP Challenger Tour. Pablo Gabriel Cuevas Urroz (; born January 1, 1986) is a Uruguayan tennis coach and a former professional player. Cuevas won the 2008 French Open – Men's doubles, 2008 French Open men's doubles title with Luis Horna, and was especially noted throughout his career for spectacular trickshots. He won six singles titles and has a career-high singles ranking of World No. 19 achieved in August 2016. His career-high doubles ranking is No. 14, achieved in April 2009. Carlos Berlocq
Carlos Alberto Berlocq (; born February 3, 1983) is an Argentine former professional tennis player and coach nicknamed ''Charly'', ''Panther'' and ''Warlocq''. Berlocq's career-high singles ranking was World No. 37, achieved in March 2012. His favourite surface was clay. Career Berlocq started playing tennis at the age of four and had success on the ATP Futures and Challenger circuits. In 2004, he made six consecutive finals on the Futures circuit and won half of them, two each in Argentina, France and Slovenia. Guido Pella (; born 17 May 1990) is an Argentine former professional tennis player. In August 2019, Pella reached his career best world No. 20 in singles. Federico Delbonis (; born 5 October 1990) is an Argentine former professional tennis player. He achieved a career-high ATP singles ranking of world No. 33 on 9 May 2016. He also reached a career-high doubles ranking of No. 110 on 22 July 2019.
