The Split Open is a professional tennis tournament played on outdoor clay courts. It is currently part of the ATP Challenger Tour and the ITF Women's World Tennis Tour. It is held annually in Split, Croatia since 2020. Split (, ), historically known as Spalato (; ; see #Name, other names), is the List of cities and towns in Croatia, second-largest city of Croatia after the capital Zagreb, the largest city in Dalmatia and the largest city on the Croatian coast. The Split metropolitan area is home to about 330,000 people. It lies on the eastern shore of the Adriatic Sea and is spread over a central peninsula and its surroundings.
