The Sibiu Open is a tennis tournament held in Sibiu, Romania since 2012. In early 2012 it was announced that BRD – Groupe Société Générale will sponsor 4 Romanian ATP Challenger Tour tournaments with Sibiu chosen to host a brand new tournament, BRD Sibiu Challenger, as it was named prior to the 2013 change of sponsor. Sibiu
Sibiu ( , , german: link=no, Hermannstadt , la, Cibinium, Transylvanian Saxon: ''Härmeschtat'', hu, Nagyszeben ) is a city in Romania, in the historical region of Transylvania. Robin Haase
Robin Haase (; born 6 April 1987) is a Dutch professional tennis player. He reached his career-high ATP singles ranking of world No. 33 in July 2012, and has won two singles titles, at the Austrian Open in both 2011 and 2012.
