Sibiu Open
The Sibiu Open is a tennis tournament held in Sibiu, Romania since 2012. In early 2012 it was announced that BRD – Groupe Société Générale will sponsor 4 Romanian ATP Challenger Tour tournaments with Sibiu chosen to host a brand new tournament, BRD Sibiu Challenger, as it was named prior to the 2013 change of sponsor. The event is part of the ATP Challenger Tour and is played on outdoor clay court A clay court is one of the types of tennis court on which the sport of tennis, originally known as "lawn tennis", is played. Sibiu ( , , german: link=no, Hermannstadt , la, Cibinium, Transylvanian Saxon: ''Härmeschtat'', hu, Nagyszeben ) is a city in Romania, in the historical region of Transylvania. Robin Haase
Robin Haase (; born 6 April 1987) is a Dutch professional tennis player. He reached his career-high ATP singles ranking of world No. 33 in July 2012, and has won two singles titles, at the Austrian Open in both 2011 and 2012. Cedrik-Marcel Stebe (; born 9 October 1990) is a German professional tennis player. He reached his career-high singles ranking of world No. 71 in February 2012.
