Aluminum Model Toys (AMT) is an American brand of scale model vehicles. The former manufacturing company was founded in Troy, Michigan, in 1948 by West Gallogly Sr. AMT became known for producing 1:25 scale model, scale plastic automobile dealer promotional model cars and friction motor models, and pioneered the annual 3-in-1 model kit buildable in stock, custom car, custom, or hot-rod versions. The company made a two-way deal in 1966 with Desilu Productions to produce a line of ''Star Trek'' models and to produce a 3/4 scale exterior and interior filming set of the Galileo (Star Trek), ''Galileo'' shuttlecraft. MoEDAL Experiment
MoEDAL (Monopole and Exotics Detector at the LHC) is a particle physics experiment at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC). Experiment MoEDAL shares the cavern at Point 8 with LHCb, and its prime goal is to directly search for the magnetic monopole or dyon and other highly ionizing stable massive particles and pseudo-stable massive particles. To detect these particles, MoEDAL uses both nuclear track detectors and aluminium trapping volumes. There are approximately 10 m2 of nuclear track detectors placed around the interaction point. These suffer characteristic damage due to highly ionizing particles, such as magnetic monopoles or highly electrically charged particles. MoEDAL also has approximately 800 kg of aluminium bars placed around the interaction point, that can trap stable massive particles for later study. Statutory Maternity Pay is an employee benefit, part of the provision of parental leave in the United Kingdom. Main conditions The mother must have been working for the same employer for six months continuously in the week 14 weeks before the baby is due, i.e. in the same employment when the baby was conceived. SMP (also known as Synthesia Murder Program) are an American industrial music group formed in Seattle, Washington. The original incarnation consisted of Jason Bazinet and Sean Ivy before Ivy left to join Christ Analogue in 1998, allowing SMP to function as a solo vehicle for Bazinet's musical output. The project was then put on hiatus in 2008, before being brought back in 2010. SMP continues to issue albums digitally with ''Hacked Vol. 2'' being released in 2016 by Music Ration Entertainment. Symmetric multiprocessing or shared-memory multiprocessing (SMP) involves a multiprocessor computer hardware and software architecture where two or more identical processors are connected to a single, shared main memory, have full access to all input and output devices, and are controlled by a single operating system instance that treats all processors equally, reserving none for special purposes. Symbolic Manipulation Program (SMP) was a computer algebra system designed by Chris A. Cole and Stephen Wolfram at Caltech circa 1979. It was initially developed in the Caltech physics department with contributions from Geoffrey C. Fox, Jeffrey M. Greif, Eric D. Mjolsness, Larry J. Romans, Timothy Shaw, and Anthony E. Terrano. In the Unicode standard, a plane is a contiguous group of 65,536 (216) code points.
