Rebellion Developments Limited is a British video game developer based in Oxford. Founded by Jason Kingsley (businessman), Jason and Chris Kingsley in December 1992, the company is best known for ''Sniper Elite'' and multiple games in the ''List of Alien, Predator and Alien vs. Predator games, Alien vs. Predator'' series. Sister company Rebellion Publishing has published comic books since 2000, when it purchased ''2000 AD (comics), 2000 AD'', the publisher of characters such as Judge Dredd and Rogue Trooper. In the 2010s the studio saw growth and success with their ''Sniper Elite'' series of games. The series has spanned 5 mainline installments and multiple spin-offs, including the ''Sniper Elite: Nazi Zombie Army'' entries. Their latest title, ''Atomfall'', was released on March 27, 2025. Atari Jaguar
The Atari Jaguar is a home video game console developed by Atari Corporation and released in North America in November 1993. It is in the fifth generation of video game consoles, and it competed with Fourth generation of video game consoles, fourth generation consoles, including the 16-bit Sega Genesis, Genesis, the 16-bit Super NES, and the 32-bit 3DO Interactive Multiplayer. Jaguar has a Motorola 68000 CPU and two custom 32-bit computing, 32-bit coprocessors named Tom and Jerry. Atari marketed it as the world's first 64-bit computing, 64-bit game system, emphasizing the blitter's 64-bit bus; however, none of its three processors have a 64-bit instruction set, unlike later 64-bit consoles such as PlayStation 2 and Nintendo 64. Sinister Dexter
''Sinister Dexter'' is a long-running comics series in British comics anthology '' 2000 AD'', created by Dan Abnett and David Millgate. Overview Set in the near future, it features the exploits of gun sharks (hitmen) Finnigan "Finny" Sinister and Ramone "Ray" Dexter in the city of Downlode, sprawled across Central Europe "like a hit and run victim". Occasional stories have taken place in other cities, or off planet. The size of Downlode is never specified in the strip, but it appears to stretch from Spain to eastern Europe. Nikolai Dante
''Nikolai Dante'' is a comic book series published in the weekly British science fiction anthology '' 2000 AD'' from March 1997 until July 2012. History ''Nikolai Dante'' was created by writer Robbie Morrison and artist Simon Fraser. The lead character, Dante, first appeared in 1997 in Prog 1035, and he made his final appearance in 2012 in Prog 1791. Fraser was the primary artist for the first three years of the series, with support from artists including Charlie Adlard, Henry Flint, Chris Weston and Andy Clarke. From 2000, the majority of the stories were painted by John Burns, until Fraser returned to the character in October 2006, when the two artists began to alternate on different stories. Strontium Dog
''Strontium Dog'' is a long-running British comics series starring Johnny Alpha, a mutant bounty hunter who lives in Earth's future. The series was created in 1978 by writer John Wagner (under the pseudonym T. B. Grover) and artist Carlos Ezquerra for '' Starlord'', a short-lived weekly science fiction comic. When ''Starlord'' was cancelled, the series transferred to the British science fiction weekly '' 2000 AD''. In 1980, Wagner was joined by co-writer Alan Grant, although scripts were normally credited to Grant alone. Grant wrote the series by himself from 1988 to 1990. Wagner revived the series after a ten-year hiatus in 2000. After Ezquerra's death in October 2018, the series was put in indefinite hiatus with no current plans for its continuation (other than some single-episode stories in special issues aimed at younger readers).
