Overkill is the use of excessive force or action that goes further than what is necessary to achieve its goal. It may be a literal term referring to physical damage, though it is also used in colloquial conversation as a metaphor. Overkill (Motörhead Song)
"Overkill" is a song by English rock band Motörhead. It was released in 7" and 12" vinyl pressings in 1979. It is backed with B-side "Too Late Too Late" which appears on the CD re-issues of the '' Overkill'' album. Early copies came with an "Overkill" badge. The single reached number 39 on the UK Singles Chart. Background and release On 9 March 1979, the band played this song on the BBC TV show ''Top of the Pops'' to support the release of the single. The song was a live favourite and was frequently featured at Motörhead concerts, often in an extended version. On 13 April 2019, Motörhead re-released the original single edit of ''Overkill'' along with "Bomber" on picture disc as a celebration of the album's 40th anniversaries on Record Store Day. Overkill Software is a Swedish video game developer based and founded in Stockholm in 2009 by Ulf Andersson (video game designer), Ulf Andersson, Bo Andersson, the founders and owners of defunct game developer Grin (company), Grin, along with Simon Viklund. In 2012, Swedish game studio Starbreeze Studios acquired Overkill. The company is known for their ''Payday'' series, consisting of ''Payday: The Heist'', ''Payday 2, and Payday 3.'' History Brothers Bo and Ulf Andersson had founded Grin (company), Grin in 1997, which had some successful titles including ''Bionic Commando (2009 video game), Bionic Commando''. ''OverKill'', also known as ''OverKill: The Six-Planet Mega Blast'', is a vertical scrolling shooter that was developed by Tech-Noir and published by Epic MegaGames in 1992. The game was designed by Ste Cork with help from Martin Holland. Ste Cork declared the registered version freeware on July 23, 2008.
Ste Cork released ''Overkill'' under the NoDerivs license.


Plot

Ulli Lommel (21 December 1944 – 2 December 2017) was a German Film actor, actor and Film director, director, noted for his many collaborations with Rainer Werner Fassbinder and his association with the New German Cinema movement. Lommel spent time at The Factory and was a creative associate of Andy Warhol, with whom he made several films and works of art.
