OVO (album)
''OVO'' (also released as ''OVO: The Millennium Show'') is a soundtrack album by English singer-songwriter and musician Peter Gabriel and his eleventh album overall. It was released on 12 June 2000 by Real World Records as the commissioned work to the Millennium Dome Show, a multimedia performance show that ran 999 times at the Millennium Dome in Greenwich, London between 1 January and 31 December 2000. Unlike most albums in his discography, Gabriel delegated some of the lead vocals to other singers, including Elizabeth Fraser, Richie Havens, and Paul Buchanan. Background Gabriel was already working on the songs for his 2002 album '' Up'', which was slated for release in 2001 at the time, when he started work on ''OVO'': "'Ovo' was going to be a six-month diversion. However, in Nov ...

OvO (band)
OvO is an Italian noise rock duo formed by Stefania Pedretti and Bruno Dorella in 2000 in Ravenna, Italy. The two initially planned for the band to be totally improvisation-based with an open lineup. After encouragement from members of their local music scene to become a band and tour, they decided to do so in order to play with Cock ESP, an extreme noise band from Minneapolis. Since, the pair have released eight full-length albums on a variety of international record labels including Load Records, Dio Drone, Bar La Muerte, and Supernatural Cat, among others. The origin of the band's name, OvO, stems from using a piece of the Italian word ''"nuovo"'', or new, which creates a palindrome. Decibel Magazine summarizes OvO's 2016 album, ''Creatura'', as "making rhythmic, layered, sludgy noise" and a "David Lynch dance party". The duo has toured extensively across the world, playing over 1000 shows in varied locations including Europe, Asia, North America, and Mexico. Musical style ...

Ovo (Cirque Du Soleil)
''oVo'' is a touring circus production by Cirque du Soleil that premiered in Montréal, Canada in 2009. ''oVo''s creator and director, Deborah Colker, took inspiration from the world of insects. The idea for ''oVo'' was not to be about the acts, nor dancing, nor insects, but about movement. The movement of life permeates the entire show, with creatures flying, leaping, bounding, and crawling. Composer Berna Ceppas brought additional life to ''Ovo'' with a score inspired by the music of Brazil. ''Ovo'' means "egg" in Portuguese and represents the underlying thread of the show. Graphically, inside the logo of ''Ovo'', is an insect. The two O's represent the eyes and the V forms the nose and antennas. Set and technical information The stage and set for ''Ovo'' were designed by Gringo Cardia and utilize irregular shapes throughout. The rear wall is wide by high and is only supported at the sides, thus allowing the trampolines for the final act to slide into place. During i ...
