Measurement
Measurement is the quantification of attributes of an object or event, which can be used to compare with other objects or events. In other words, measurement is a process of determining how large or small a physical quantity is as compared to a basic reference quantity of the same kind. The scope and application of measurement are dependent on the context and discipline. In natural sciences and engineering, measurements do not apply to nominal properties of objects or events, which is consistent with the guidelines of the International Vocabulary of Metrology (VIM) published by the International Bureau of Weights and Measures (BIPM). ''Measure'' is the second album by Matt Pond PA, released in 2000. Production The album was produced by Brian McTear. Pond rewrote many of the songs during the recording sessions, eventually bringing in a drummer. Critical reception ''Exclaim!'' wrote that "the winning pop disc thrives on the honeyed tones of Pond's voice and poignant arrangements." A countermeasure is a measure or action taken to counter or offset another one. As a general concept, it implies precision and is any technological or tactical solution or system designed to prevent an undesirable outcome in the process. In typography, line length is the width of a block of typesetting, typeset character (symbol), text, usually measured in units of length like inches or Point (typography), points or in characters per line (in which case it is a measure). A block of text or paragraph has a maximum line length that fits a determined design. If the lines are too short then the text becomes disjointed; if they are too long, the content loses rhythm as the reader searches for the start of each line. Line length is determined by typographic parameters based on a formal Grid (page layout), grid and Page layout, template with several goals in mind: balance and function for fit and readability with a sensitivity to aesthetic style in typography. "Measures" is the eleventh episode of the third season of the American Neo-Western television series '' Justified''.
