Being late as a form of misconduct may be formally Punishment, punishable in various arrangements, such as workplace, school, etc. An opposite personality Personality trait, trait is punctuality. Workplace tardiness United States Workplace tardiness is one attendance issue, along with the absence from work and failure to properly notify about absence or being late. To be at work on time is an implied obligation unless stated otherwise. It is a legal reason for discharge in cases when it is a demonstrable disregard of duty: repeated tardiness without compelling reasons, tardiness associated with other misconduct, and single inexcusable tardiness resulted in grave loss of employer's interests. If tardiness is minor or without interference with employer's operations, it is not to be legally considered as misconduct. Characteristics of tardy people Diana DeLonzor in her book ''Never Be Late Again: 7 Cures for the Punctual ...

Dead
Death is the end of life; the irreversible cessation of all biological functions that sustain a living organism. Death eventually and inevitably occurs in all organisms. The remains of a former organism normally begin to decompose shortly after death. Some organisms, such as '' Turritopsis dohrnii'', are biologically immortal; however, they can still die from means other than aging. Death is generally applied to whole organisms; the equivalent for individual components of an organism, such as cells or tissues, is necrosis. Something that is not considered an organism, such as a virus, can be physically destroyed but is not said ''to die'', as a virus is not considered alive in the first place. As of the early 21st century, 56 million people die per year. The most common reason is aging, followed by cardiovascular disease, which is a disease that affects the heart or blood vessels. As of 2022, an estimated total of almost 110 billion humans have died, or rough ...

Late (Alvin Batiste Album)
''Late'' is an album by the American clarinetist Alvin Batiste, released in 1993. Issued as part of Columbia Records' "Legendary Pioneers of Jazz" series, it was Batiste's first album for a major label. Production The album was produced by Batiste. He led Kenny Barron on piano, Rufus Reid on bass, and Herman Jackson on drums. Batiste wrote six of the album's eight songs. "Banjo Noir" was inspired by a Creole folk song from the 1800s. "Ray's Segue" is based on a melody that Ray Charles would play. "Imp and Perry" is based on John Coltrane's " Countdown". Wessell Anderson played saxophone on " Body and Soul". Critical reception '' The Philadelphia Inquirer'' wrote: "Always light and elegant, Batiste weaves delicate, diaphanous strands on the title track and manages a street sensibility coupled with a highbrow complexity on 'Bat's Blues'." The '' Chicago Tribune'' stated that "Batiste adds an alert technique and an intense, compositional approach to improvisation." The '' Chi ...

Pocketwatch (album)
''Pocketwatch'' is a cassette album by Dave Grohl, under the pseudonym Late!, released in 1992, on the now-defunct indie label Simple Machines as part of their Tool Cassette Series. Background In the summer of 1991, Dave Grohl went into WGNS Studios and recorded four songs, playing all the instruments himself. The recording was combined with six songs from a previous Upland Studios session recorded in late 1990. Both sessions occurred after Grohl had joined Nirvana. A tape of the songs, given to Simple Machines co-founder Jenny Toomey by Grohl, immediately became a candidate for the label's Tool Cassette Series. The 1990 sessions emerged as Grohl, then the drummer of Scream, requested his producer friend Barrett Jones to record songs on his home 8-track tape recorder. Upon accepting Simple Machines' request for a demo tape, Grohl decided to hide his identity under the pseudonym Late!, "because I’m an idiot and I thought it would be funny to say to everybody, 'Sorry, we†...

Late Registration
''Late Registration'' is the second studio album by the American rapper Kanye West. It was released on August 30, 2005, through Roc-A-Fella Records and Def Jam Recordings. West recorded the album over the course of a year during sessions held at studios in Hollywood and New York City, in collaboration with Jon Brion. The album features guest appearances from Adam Levine, Jamie Foxx, Common (rapper), Common, Brandy Norwood, Brandy, Jay-Z, and Nas, among others. West's production for ''Late Registration'' departed from the sped-up soul music, soul sampling (music), samples of his debut studio album, ''The College Dropout'' (2004), moving towards a more elaborate and orchestral style with a 20-piece ensemble.
