Karaikal (, , Help:IPA/French, /kaʁikal/) is a port city of the Indian States and territories of India, Union Territory of Puducherry (union territory), Puducherry. It is the administrative headquarters of the Karaikal district, Karaikal District and the second most populated town in the Union Territory after Puducherry (city), Pondicherry. Located on the Coromandel Coast of Bay of Bengal in South India, it is situated at the center of a coastal Enclave and exclave, enclave surrounded by the state of Tamil Nadu and its Cauvery delta districts (Mayiladuthurai, Tiruvarur and Nagapattinam). Our Lady Of Angels Church, Karaikal
Our Lady of Angels Church (also called Karaikal Church) is the oldest church in Karaikal in the Union territory of Puducherry, Union territory of Pondicherry, in South India, Southern India. Karaikal Ammaiyar Temple ( French : or ) is a Hindu temple dedicated to the Shaivite saint or ''Nayanmar'' Punithavathi, more famously known as Karaikal Ammaiyar (). Karaikal Municipality is a municipality in the union territory Puducherry, India. It serves the area covered by the town of Karaikal, located in Karaikal taluk of Karaikal district. Arasalar River
The river Arasalar is a river that flows through Tamil Nadu and Pudducherry, and a distributary of Kaveri river which splits into 5 different rivers when it enters into Thanjavur district from Trichy.
