Pakistani Jews () are a small, historic community, mainly in Karachi. Most migrated to Israel after the 1948. Their history in Pakistan goes back to 1839 when Pakistan was part of British India. Various estimates suggest that there were about 50,000 to 60,000 Jews living in Karachi at the beginning of the 20th century, mostly comprising Iranian Jews and Bene Israel; a substantial Jewish community lived in Rawalpindi, and a smaller community also lived in Peshawar. Pakistani Jews In Israel
In Israel, there is a community of between 1,000 and 2,000 people consisting of Pakistani Jews and their direct descendants. Liel Leibovitz (; born 1976) is an Israeli journalist, author, media critic, and video game scholar.
