Daniel Gluckstein
Daniel Gluckstein (born 3 March 1953 in Paris) is a French Trotskyist politician best known for running in the French presidential election of 2002 as the candidate of the Workers' Party (''Parti des Travailleurs'', PT). Biography In 1968, he joined the Revolutionary Communist Youth (JCR). Then in 1979, he founded the Communist League Internationalist (LCI). In 1991, he was nominated National Secretary of the Parti des Travailleurs. In 1994, as lead candidate of the Parti des Travailleurs for the European elections, he obtained 0.43% of the vote. He was candidate for the legislative elections in Montreuil, Seine-Saint-Denis in 1997. In April 2002, he was candidate in the presidential election, and gained 0.47% of the vote, which made him the last of sixteen candidates in the first round. Donny Gluckstein
Donny Gluckstein (born 1954) is a British historian at Edinburgh College. He went to the University of Warwick in 1974 and graduated in history. The son of Tony Cliff and Chanie Rosenberg, he is the author of numerous books and articles. (born Hannah Gluckstein; 13 August 1895 – 10 January 1978) was a List of British painters, British painter, who rejected any forename or English honorifics, honorific (such as "Miss" or "Mr"), also using the names Peter and Hig. Gluck joined the Lamorna Art colony, artists' colony near Penzance, and was noted for portraits and floral paintings, as well as a new design of picture-frame. Louis Gluckstein
Sir Louis Halle Gluckstein (23 February 1897 – 27 October 1979) was a British lawyer and Conservative Party politician. Family Gluckstein was born in Hampstead, London, the son of Joseph Gluckstein, whose brothers (Isidore and Montague) founded the J. Lyons and Co. coffee house and catering empire in London. His mother, Francesca Halle, was an American opera singer, and his elder sibling Gluck (born Hannah Gluckstein) was a painter. Career Gluckstein was educated at St Paul's School and Lincoln College, Oxford. He was commissioned into the Suffolk Regiment during the First World War and also saw action as a captain in the Second World War, being mentioned in dispatches in the early part of the war. Sir Samuel Gluckstein (28 September 1880 – 19 August 1958) was a British solicitor and politician. Early life He was the son of Isidore Gluckstein (1851-1920), son of one of the founders of J. Lyons and Co. (Samuel Gluckstein), and his wife Rose (née Cohen). Gluckstein was educated at the City of London School and privately. Career He subsequently studied law and became a partner in the Bartlett & Gluckstein, solicitors. Steven Gluckstein
Steven Gluckstein (born June 24, 1990) is a former American 2012 Olympian in gymnastic trampoline. He is a six-time National Men's US Trampoline Champion, five-time National US Men's Synchronized Trampoline Champion, and a six-time World Team member. In 2009, he and his partner Logan Dooley were the first gymnastic trampolinists in Team USA history to win a gold medal at a World Cup Series event. Gluckstein retired from competitive gymnastics in 2016 and is currently the head coach of the Junior U.S. National Trampoline team, as well as a trainer at Elite Trampoline Academy in New Jersey. He also regularly works with his wife, Camilla Lopes Gomes, a top-ranked Brazilian trampolinist. Tony Cliff
Tony Cliff (born Yigael Glückstein, ; 20 May 1917 – 9 April 2000) was a Trotskyist activist. Born to a Jewish family in Ottoman Palestine, he moved to Britain in 1947 and by the end of the 1950s had assumed the pen name of Tony Cliff.
