Cyber And Electro Magnetic Activities Effects Group
The Cyber and Electro Magnetic Activities Effects Group (CEMA Effects Group) is a combat support formation of the British Army formed in 2024. The group brings together three specialist regiments of the Royal Corps of Signals under Commander Field Army. History As part of the Army 2020 and subsequently Army 2020 Refine programmes, the 14th Signal Regiment (Electronic Warfare) under control of the 1st Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance Brigade (6th (UK) Division), while the 13th Signal Regiment was formed in June 2020 under 1st (United Kingdom) Signal Brigade, 1st (UK) Signal Brigade (6th (UK) Division) as the first dedicated cyber unit. Future Soldier (British Army)
Future Soldier is a reform of the British Army resulting from the Integrated Review of Security, Defence, Development and Foreign Policy ("Global Britain in a Competitive Age") published in March 2021. The aim of the reform is to create a more lethal, agile and expeditionary force, able to fight and win wars and to operate in the grey-zone between peace and war. Future Soldier was published on 25 November 2021 and deals with the organizational changes of the British Army, with changes to personnel and equipment were set out in the ''Defence in a Competitive Age'' paper published on 22 March 2021. Innsworth
Innsworth is a village near Gloucester, and a civil parish in the borough of Tewkesbury, in the county of Gloucestershire, England. The parish population taken at the 2011 census was 2,468. It contains Imjin Barracks, the home of Allied Rapid Reaction Corps, which moved from Germany in 2010. Until 2008, it was best known for RAF Innsworth, the home of the RAF Personnel and Training Command, before its move to RAF High Wycombe to co-locate with RAF Strike Command, forming RAF Air Command. Imjin Barracks
Imjin Barracks is a British Army installation situated near Innsworth in Gloucestershire, that is home to the headquarters of NATO's Allied Rapid Reaction Corps (ARRC). History Imjin Barracks is located at the site of the former RAF Innsworth, which was a non-flying Royal Air Force station between 1940 and 2008. The station opened in 1940, the first unit based there being No 7 School of Technical Training, which trained engine and airframe fitters and mechanics. In December 1941, No 2 Women's Auxiliary Air Force, WAAF Depot was opened at Innsworth and from then on the station became increasingly associated with the women's branch of the service. The 14th Signal Regiment (Electronic Warfare) is a part of the British Army's Royal Corps of Signals. The regiment's role is to provide electronic warfare (EW) capability in support of deployed Land Commanders, in order to enable operations in the electronic battlespace. 13 Signal Regiment is a signal regiment of the Royal Corps of Signals within the British Army. Originally formed in 1934, the regiment had a long history of service before being disbanded in 1994, following the initial Options for Change reforms.
