Crossroads Center is a shopping mall located in Waterloo, Iowa, United States. It was built in 1970 as one of the first malls in Iowa. It has five vacant anchors formerly occupied by Sears, Dillard's, Gordmans, Younkers, and At Home. It is owned by Namdar Realty Group. It is located in the heart of a retail hub that includes a 12 screen theater, Best Buy, Super Target (opened 2000), Walmart, Barnes & Noble, and many other national tenants. The Crossroads Mall was an indoor shopping mall from 1963 until 2004, in Boulder, Colorado. History Development Crossroads Mall opened on March 14, 1963 with 394,000 leasable square feet for retail stores, surrounded by open-air parking. Anchor stores included J. C. Penney and Montgomery Ward, as well as a Randall Shop, the small-format version of The Denver Dry Goods Company. In March 1976, Denver Dry Goods expanded the 10,000 square foot Randall Shop into a 60,000 square foot full-line "the Denver". In August 1979, Macerich acquired Crossroads Mall for $12 million. Crossroads Mall was a shopping mall located at the intersection of U.S. Route 19 and Roosevelt Boulevard on the border of Clearwater and Largo, Florida. History The mall was opened in September 1984 as Bay Area Outlet Mall. Crossroads Plaza was a shopping mall in downtown Salt Lake City, Utah, United States that operated from 1980 to 2007, before being demolished to make way for City Creek Center mall. The mall was developed by a consortium, called Crossroads Plaza Associates. In 2003, the mall was purchased by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church), which also owned the neighboring ZCMI Center Mall. Crossroads is a neighborhood in Bellevue, Washington. It is situated in the north and eastern portion of the city, lying south of Bellevue-Redmond Road, east of Bellevue's Wilburton neighborhood, and north of Lake Hills.
