Crossroads is a multisite interdenominational megachurch in Cincinnati, Ohio. It was named the 4th-largest and the fastest-growing church in America in 2017, with over 34,000 average weekend attendees. Crossroads has nine physical locations in Ohio and Kentucky, and an online streaming platform where over 6,000 people watch services weekly. History In 1990, Procter & Gamble brand managers Brian Wells, Jim Bechtold and Vivienne Bechtold started a singles Bible study in Hyde Park, Cincinnati. It quickly grew to over 100 people and they wondered if starting a church made sense. After five years in a junior high auditorium and a growing attendance, senior leaders raised funds to purchase an empty supercenter. It was renovated into an auditorium seating 1,200. Crossroads Christian Church is an Nondemominational Christian megachurch, located in Corona, California, United States. History Crossroads Christian Church was founded in 1892 by nine members in Corona, California. Led by Reverend Wright and Sister Iola, the church opened as the "First Christian Church of South Riverside." In 1932, the church changed its name to "1st Christian Church, Corona"; at the time, it had 100 members. The current name was put in place in 1980. In 2005, a 3,000-seat worship center and chapel were opened. To celebrate the opening of the worship center several concerts were presented featuring artists such as Olivia Newton-John, SHeDAISY, Delirious?, Jeremy Camp, Michael W. Cross Roads Church
Baldwin Hall, also known as the Cross Roads Church, was built as the Severn Crossroads Methodist Episcopal Church and is currently a historic church at Millersville, Anne Arundel County, Maryland. It is a one-story gable-front frame structure in the Italianate and Carpenter Gothic-styles built in 1861. It was moved about 1930 and again in 1981. An addition, constructed about 1933, duplicates the exterior detailing of the original part. It is currently operated by the Severn Cross Roads Foundation, Inc., as a wedding and banquet facility known as Historic Baldwin Hall. Church Of The Crossroads
The Church of the Crossroads building at 1212 University Avenue in Honolulu, Hawaii was designed in 1935 by Claude A. Stiehl, who combined features of Asian, European, and Hawaiian architecture. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1992. The buildings on the attractively landscaped lot are built of wood, stucco, and stone with decorative elements. The interior courtyard is surrounded by covered walkways that connect the main sanctuary with offices, meeting halls, and a small seminar room. The red columns throughout the complex were inspired by the Summer Palace and Temple of Heaven in Beijing, China. At the raised front end of the classic, cross-shaped nave are an altar of Philippine mahogany and four wood carvings with symbols of Buddhism, Hinduism, Judaism, and Zoroastrianism.
