The Legislative Assembly of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, also known as AJK Legislative Assembly is a unicameral legislature of elected representatives of the autonomous state of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, which is located in Muzaffarabad. It was established under the Interim Constitution of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (1974), Interim Constitution of AJK having a total of 53 seats, with 45 general seats, while 8 are reserved of which 5 are for women, 1 for Ulama, 1 for Technocrats and 1 for Azad Kashmiri diaspora, J&K nationals residing abroad. Sardar Ziaul Qamar is a politician from Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) and a member of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP). He has been a member of the Azad Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly since June 2023. He was elected in a by-election on 8 June 2023 from LA-15 Bagh-II, securing 25,755 votes. General elections were held in Azad Kashmir on 21 July 2016 to elect 41 members of the Azad Kashmir Legislative Assembly. Polling started at 8:00am and continued until 5:00pm. Raja Mushtaq Ahmed Minhas ()(Born 12 August 1970) is a Kashmiri politician who is former minister of Information, Tourism and Culture in the AJK assembly. He is a member of the 8th Legislative Assembly of AJK.
