Coming of Age is a R&B quintet group that consist of Israel Spencer, Tao Kese, Terrance Quaites, Ivan Shaw and Maranthony Tabb. The group signed to Atlantic Records in the 1990s. Their self-titled debut album was released in 1993 and peaked in the top ten of the Billboard Top Heatseakers chart. Their debut single "Coming Home to Love" peaked at number twenty-seven on the US chart, their follow up in 1994 "Baby Be Still" peaked at number sixty-three. Compton is a city located in the Gateway Cities region of southern Los Angeles County, California, United States, situated south of downtown Los Angeles. Zoo Entertainment was an American record label formed in 1990 by Lou Maglia. Zoo released three platinum records by the group Tool, as well as gold records by Green Jellÿ and Matthew Sweet. During the record company's early years, music industry executive George Daly was the label's original Vice President of A&R. History The label was formed in 1990 by Lou Maglia, former president of Island Records. As early as 1993, Zoo was having financial difficulties. Terrance Quaites (born May 24, 1976), known professionally by his initials TQ, is an American R&B singer. He is best known for his hit song " Westside", which became a top 40 hit in several countries in 1998. Career Music TQ began his music career in the early 1990s with the R&B group Coming of Age, who had a hit with the ballad "Coming Home to Love". After two album releases, ''Coming of Age'' in September 1993 and ''Comin' Correct'' in May 1995, the group went their separate ways. The summer of 1998 saw TQ notch his first hit with "Westside".
