Christopher Anthony John Martin (born 2 March 1977) is an English singer, songwriter, musician and producer. He is best known as the vocalist, pianist and co-founder of the rock band Coldplay. Born in Exeter, Martin went to University College London, where he formed Coldplay with Jonny Buckland, Guy Berryman and Will Champion. The band signed with Parlophone in 1999, finding global fame with '' Parachutes'' (2000) and following albums. He has won seven Grammy Awards and nine Brit Awards as part of Coldplay. Christopher Jon Martin, (15 May 1973 – 25 November 2015) was a British civil servant. He was Principal Private Secretary to the Prime Minister from 2012 to 2015. Early life Martin was born on 15 May 1973 in West Bromwich, Black Country, England. He was brought up in Hampshire, on the edge of the New Forest, and educated at Noadswood School, Dibden Purlieu (his local comprehensive school) and at Totton College, his local sixth form college. Kinski (band)
Kinski is an American rock band from Seattle, Washington. They have released eight albums, a number of split albums and EP. Career They formed in 1998 in a pub, when bartender and drummer Dave Weeks overheard a conversation between two customers, Chris Martin (guitar) and Lucy Atkinson (bassist) about analog recording. Weeks joined the discussion, and they found they also shared mutual musical interests, and hence agreed to form a band. They started playing live the same year. Near the end of 1999, guitarist/keyboardist/flautist Matthew Reid Schwartz was added to the line-up. Chris Martin (born 1954) is an American abstract painter who lives and works in Brooklyn, New York and the Catskills region of New York State.
