Christopher Clarke MBE (born 25 January 1990) is an English elite athlete sprinter who has often represented Great Britain and Northern Ireland. At club level he represents Marshall Milton Keynes AC and is also higher claim to Newham and Essex Beagles A.C. Career At the 2006 Beijing World Junior Athletics Championships Clarke won a bronze medal in the 4 × 400 metres relay. In 2007 he finished first in the 400 metres final of the World Youth Championships to win the gold medal. On 24 July 2009 he won two gold medals (400 m and 4 × 400 m) at the European Junior Championships in a new personal best of 45.59 seconds. 2009 also saw Chris selected for his first Senior Great Britain national team for the World athletics championships in Berlin. 2010 saw him compete as part of the 4 × 400 m relay team who later went on to claim a bronze medal at the world indoor athletics championships in Doha. Chris Clarke (boxer)
Chris Clarke (born October 24, 1956, in Halifax, Nova Scotia) is a former professional boxer from Canada, who won the Canadian and Commonwealth Welterweight championship titles and also became the Canadian Middleweight champion. As an amateur boxer, Clarke won the gold medal in the men's lightweight division at the 1975 Pan American Games. A year later he represented his native country at the 1976 Summer Olympics, where he was defeated in the second round. Amateur boxing career Chris Clarke began boxing as an amateur in Halifax, Nova Scotia. In February 1975, he won a gold medal in the 125-pound division at the 1975 Canada Winter Games in Lethbridge, Alberta. Sir Christopher James Clarke OBE FRSA (24 March 1941 – 15 December 2009), usually known as Chris Clarke, was a British Liberal Democrat politician, leader of Somerset County Council and of his party's group in the Local Government Association. Life Originally from Essex, where he was educated at Westcliff High School for Boys, Clarke first entered politics as an SDP councillor in Richmondshire, North Yorkshire, before moving to Somerset, where he worked for the shoe manufacturer Clarks. He was elected to Mendip District Council, rising to become its leader for four years. Chris Clarke is a Canadian retired soccer player. He played professionally in the USL A-League and National Professional Soccer League. Clarke played youth soccer with Metro-Ford. Birdsell attended Willis High School in Willis, Texas, and played college baseball at Texas A&M University in 2019, San Jacinto College in 2020, and Texas Tech in 2021 and 2022. He appeared in seven games for Texas Tech in 2021 before he underwent rotator cuff surgery, ending his season.
