Canoga Station
Canoga station is a station on the G Line of the Los Angeles Metro Busway system located on Canoga Avenue in Canoga Park, in the western San Fernando Valley. It is part of the Los Angeles Metro Busway system. History Canoga was built as an infill station and opened on December 27, 2006, about 14 months after the other stations on the line opened eastward. Canoga was built to alleviate the lack of parking available at other G Line stations in the West Valley, providing a total of 612 new parking spaces at the opening, and was also built to be the starting point for the extension northward to Chatsworth. The Metro Orange Line Chatsworth Extension was completed on June 30, 2012, from Canoga Station north through downtown Canoga Park to the Chatsworth Amtrak/Metrolink Station in Chatsworth. Westfield Topanga is a shopping mall in the Canoga Park neighborhood of Los Angeles, California. It has of gross leasable area and features Nordstrom, Macy's, Neiman Marcus, and Target. The mall has been owned by Westfield-affiliated companies since 1993, and has been owned by the present-day Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield since 2017. G Line Bikeway
The G Line Bikeway is a cycle route in Los Angeles, California, that runs for from Chatsworth, through Sepulveda Basin Recreation Area to Valley Glen. It runs alongside the G Line bus rapid transit route, sharing a dedicated right-of-way with it. The section from Chatsworth station to just east of Valley College station is Class I off-street bike path. The section beginning between Coldwater Canyon Avenue and Fulton Avenue and continuing to North Hollywood station on the easton Chandler Boulevard is Class II on-street bike lane. One guide to Los Angeles cycling notes that the need for cyclists to stop when the path crosses streets running perpendicular to it inhibits the flow of an uninterrupted ride, making the path better suited to recreational riding than endurance cycling or physical conditioning. Sherman Way Station
Sherman Way station is a station on the G Line of the Los Angeles Metro Busway system located at Sherman Way in downtown Canoga Park — a community of Los Angeles in the western San Fernando Valley. The station is in service on the Metro G Line Chatsworth Extension. It opened in June 2012. Sherman Way station is located on the intersection of Canoga Avenue and Sherman Way. Chatsworth, California
Chatsworth is a suburban neighborhood in Los Angeles, California, in the San Fernando Valley. The area around the town was home to Native Americans, who left caves containing rock art. Chatsworth was explored and colonized by the Spanish beginning in the 18th century. The land was part of a Spanish land grant, Rancho Ex-Mission San Fernando. After the United States took over the land following the Mexican–American War, it was the largest such grant in California. Chatsworth has seven public and eight private schools.
