AB6IX (; ''pronounced as A-B-Six'') is a South Korean boy band formed by Brand New Music. The group currently consists of four members: Jeon Woong, Kim Dong-hyun, Park Woo-jin and Lee Dae-hwi. Former leader Lim Young-min's departure from the group was announced on June 8, 2020. The group debuted on May 22, 2019, with their first EP titled '' B:Complete''. Name AB6IX is short for "Absolute Six" meaning that the absolute completeness of Brand New Boys, which is finally complete by combining the five members and the fandom, and the transcendental symbol of the five members and the fandom who will open a new horizon for Brand New Music which means "Above BrandNew Six". Kim Dong-hyun (, born September 17, 1998), known mononymously as Donghyun, is a South Korean singer-songwriter and actor. He is known for his participation in the reality competition show '' Produce 101 Season 2''. He later debuted as a part of the musical duo, MXM. He is a member of South Korean boy group AB6IX. Early life Kim Dong-hyun was born on September 17, 1998, in Daejeon, South Korea. He has an older brother, an older sister, and an older fraternal twin brother, making him the youngest person in his family. Lee Dae-hwi (, born January 29, 2001), known mononymously as Daehwi, is a South Korean singer-songwriter, producer and television personality. He is a member of South Korean boy group AB6IX, and is known for his participation in the reality competition show ''Produce 101 (season 2), Produce 101 Season 2'', where he finished in third place overall and became a member of the boy group Wanna One. In addition to singing and writing songs for various artists, he guest hosted and then became the permanent host for the long-time running variety show ''M Countdown''. Park Woo-jin (, born November 2, 1999), also known mononymously as Woojin, is a South Korean rapper, singer and songwriter. He placed sixth in the second season of '' Produce 101'', becoming a member of the project group Wanna One. He is a member of the boy group AB6IX. KCON is an annual convention held in locations across the world, created by Koreaboo and organized by CJ ENM Entertainment Division. It was first held in Southern California in 2012 and has since expanded to ten countries as of 2022. MXM (musical Duo)
MXM was a South Korean duo under Brand New Music that consisted of members Lim Young-min and Kim Dong-hyun. History Pre-debut Lim Young-min and Kim Dong-hyun met as trainees under Brand New Music. They represented the agency alongside Lee Dae-hwi and Park Woo-jin in '' Produce 101 Season 2''. When the show ended, neither of the two earned a spot in the project unit Wanna One: Young-min finished 15th overall, while Dong-hyun was eliminated prior to finale, placing 28th.
