Sajjad Hussain Qureshi
Makhdoom Sajjad Hussain Qureshi () (September 1923 – 23 January 1996) was the Governor of Punjab from 30 December 1985 to 9 December 1988. He did his Matriculation from Pilot Secondary School and B.A. from Govt. Emerson College. Makhdoom Sajjad Hussain Qureshi completed his L.L.B. from Punjab University Law College. His father Makhdoom Mureed Hussain Qureshi was member of the Central Legislative Assembly before the Partition of India. Qureshi actively participated in the movement for Pakistan on the instructions of Muhammad Ali Jinnah and visited Sindh and Balochistan to motivate the public in favour of a new Muslim state. Mike Gatting
Michael William Gatting (born 6 June 1957) is an English former cricketer, who played first-class cricket for Middlesex (1975–1998; captain 1983–1997) and for England from 1977 to 1995, captaining the national side in twenty-three Test matches between 1986 and 1988. He toured South Africa as captain of the rebel tour party in 1990. He was a part of the English squad which finished as runners-up at the 1979 Cricket World Cup and captain of the squad which finished as runners-up at the 1987 Cricket World Cup. Shakoor Rana
Shakoor Rana (3 April 1936 – 9 April 2001) was a Pakistani cricketer and umpire. He stood in 18 Test matches, including one in 1987, where his public row with England captain Mike Gatting led to the match being disrupted. His brothers Azmat Rana and Shafqat Rana, and his sons Mansoor Rana and Maqsood Rana played cricket for Pakistan. Playing career Shakoor Rana played in 11 first-class matches between 1957 and 1973, accumulating 226 runs and 12 wickets. He was overshadowed by his brothers Shafqat Rana and Azmat Rana who both represented Pakistan at Test level. Rahimuddin Khan
Rahimuddin Khan (21 July 1926 – 22 August 2022) was a four-star rank Pakistani general who briefly served as the 16th Governor of Sindh in 1988. Previously, he had served as the fourth Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee from 1984 to 1987 and the seventh Governor of Balochistan from 1978 to 1984. He was a member of a secret five-person committee, which consisted of General's Akhtar Abdur Rahman, Fazle Haq, and Minister of Foreign Affairs (Pakistan), Foreign Minister Sahabzada Yaqub Khan, that determined the allocation of weapons among competing Afghan rebel factions during the Soviet–Afghan War. After the Partition of British India, Rahimuddin enrolled as the first cadet of the Pakistan Military Academy. Muhammad Zia-ul-Haq
Muhammad Zia-ul-Haq (12 August 192417 August 1988) was a Pakistani military officer and statesman who served as the sixth president of Pakistan from 1978 until Death of Muhammad Zia-ul-Haq, his death in an airplane crash in 1988.
