Unimog
The Unimog (, ) is a range of multi-purpose tractors, trucks and lorries that has been produced by Boehringer from 1948 until 1951, and by Daimler Truck (formerly Daimler-Benz, DaimlerChrysler and Daimler AG) since 1951. In the United States and Canada, the Unimog was sold as the Freightliner Unimog. Unimog production started in 1948 at in Göppingen. Daimler-Benz took over manufacture of the Unimog in 1951, and first produced it in their Gaggenau plant. From 1951, the Unimog was sold under the Mercedes-Benz brand. However, the first Unimog to feature the three-pointed Mercedes-Benz star was only introduced in 1953. Brian Edward Boehringer (born January 8, 1969) is a former Major League Baseball pitcher. He won the 1996 World Series with the New York Yankees over the Atlanta Braves. Early life and career He is a 1987 graduate of Northwest High School in House Springs, Missouri. He attended the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Boehringer was drafted by the Houston Astros in the tenth round of the MLB draft in 1990, but did not sign. Jorge Boehringer is an electro-acoustic musician, composer, sound designer, and installation artist from the United States. He was born in New York in 1975, grew up in Texas, and in 1998 moved Oakland, California. He currently resides in Newcastle Upon Tyne, England. Robert Boehringer
Robert Boehringer (30 July 1884, in Winnenden – 9 August 1974, in Geneva) was a German industrialist and poet. Boehringer was the son of a factory owner. He spent his childhood, youth, and his student years in Basel, where he also had his Ph.D. approved at the local university. Until 1920 he was the head of the family firm C.H. Boehringer in Ingelheim. From 1931 he took part in the establishment of Hoffmann-La Roche in Basel. In 1930 he settled in Geneva. After the outbreak of World War II Boehringer gave up his German citizenship and became a Swiss national. He founded the Commission mixte de Secours de la Croix Rouge Internationale and after the war he worked for J. R. Geigy AG. From about 1905 Boehringer became a member of the circle of Stefan George and one of his most trusted friends. After George's death Boehringer became inheritor and administrator of George's estate. Moritz Wilhelm Böhringer (born October 16, 1993) is a German professional American football tight end who is a free agent. He was drafted by the Minnesota Vikings in the sixth round of the 2016 NFL Draft. Böhringer was the first European player to be selected in the NFL Draft without playing any college football.
