''Blizzard'' (Swedish: ''Snöstormen'') is a 1944 Swedish drama film directed by and starring Åke Ohberg and also featuring Karin Ekelund, Gunnar Olsson and Liane Linden.Krawc p.314 It was shot at the Sundbyberg Studios in Stockholm. The film's sets were designed by the art director Max Linder. Synopsis A man suspected of murder leaves his home town, but becomes caught up in a violent snowstorm. Åke Ohberg
Åke Ohberg (20 July 1905 – 18 July 1975) was a Swedish actor and film director. He appeared in about 30 roles in films between 1932 and 1961. Ohberg was born to Johan and Hulda Ohberg in Västerås, Sweden. Marriage and Family He married actress Birgit Chenon but that marriage did not last. He married actress Peggy Lindberg in 1937, a union that lasted until his death. They had two children, a daughter Ingert and a son Anders. Jullan Kindahl
Jullan Kindahl (12 April 1885 – 18 April 1979) was a Swedish actress. Born Julia Carolina Carlsson, she worked as an actress from 1900s until the 1960s. She appeared in Swedish theatres like the Hippodromen in Malmö, the Malmö City Theatre in Malmö and the Stora Teatern in Göteborg. Kindahl also made 33 films between 1923 and 1962. She remains perhaps best known for her domestic supporting roles in two films: as the cook Beata in '' Smiles of a Summer Night'' (1955) and as Professor Borg's housekeeper Agda in '' Wild Strawberries'' (1957), both of which were directed by Ingmar Bergman. Born on 10 July 1903 in Österunda, Sweden, she began her film-acting career with a small role in 1933's ''Djurgårdsnätter'', starring Erik Berglund and Anne-Marie Brunius. She appeared mostly in smaller roles, many times un-credited. Her final performance was as an unnamed woman in Börje Nyberg's ''Svenska Floyd'' (1961), which was released on her 58th birthday, 10 July 1961.
