''Big Momma's House: Music from the Motion Picture'' is the soundtrack to Raja Gosnell's 2000 comedy film ''Big Momma's House''. It was released on May 30, 2000 via So So Def Recordings and consisted of hip hop and R&B music. Hip hop production, Production was primarily handled by Jermaine Dupri. The soundtrack was a minor success, making it to 41 on the Billboard 200, ''Billboard'' 200 and 12 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums, and featured three singles, "Bounce with Me", "I've Got to Have It" and "Get Up". The song "Bounce with Me" served as the film's theme song, and the soundtrack's lead single. In addition to this, this is the only film in the series to have a soundtrack. Michael Lynn Piccirillo (born 1951) is an American record producer, songwriter, and musician, who began working professionally in the Los Angeles music business in 1976. In conjunction with production partner George Tobin, and subsequently Gary Goetzman, Piccirillo co-produced 31 albums between 1976 and 1992. Gary Michael Goetzman (born November 6, 1952) is an American film and television producer and actor, and co-founder of the production company Playtone with actor Tom Hanks. Life and career Born in Los Angeles, Goetzman began his career as a child actor. Jagged Edge is an American R&B group from Atlanta, Georgia. The group, initially signed to record producer Jermaine Dupri's So So Def Recordings, is best known for their string of hit singles including " Let's Get Married" and " Where the Party At" (featuring Nelly), most of which were produced by Dupri. The group's members include identical twin lead singers Brian and Brandon Casey as well as Richard Wingo and Kyle Norman. Xscape (group)
Xscape is an American girl group from Atlanta, Georgia, formed in 1991 by Kandi Burruss, Tameka "Tiny" Cottle, LaTocha Scott, Tamera Coggins-Wynn, and Tamika Scott. The following year Coggins-Wynn left the group and Xscape became a quartet. They were discovered by Jermaine Dupri who signed the group to his So So Def label.
