Big Guns (Dad's Army)
"Big Guns" is the seventh episode of the third series of the British comedy series ''Dad's Army''. It was originally transmitted on 23 October 1969. The episode was recorded Sunday 6 July 1969. Synopsis The platoon is given heavy artillery and, directly in the line of fire of their naval gun, the town's bandstand is at grave risk. Plot Captain Mainwaring and Sergeant Wilson are discussing a church parade in the Vicar's office when they are interrupted by the Verger, accompanied by an official from Pickfords, complaining that a large gun has been left in the yard. It is revealed to be a 13 pounder naval gun. The platoon call in Frazer, who was in the navy, to tell them how it works, but Frazer reveals that he was only a cook. The man from Pickfords returns with the manual however, and Mainwaring begins to read it. The platoon are each assigned different positions, with amusing consequences. ''Big Guns'' is a 1987 gay pornographic film produced by the Laguna Pacific studio and distributed by Catalina Video. The cast included Mike Henson, Kevin Williams, Chad Douglas, Chris Gray, Jeff Boote, Jeff Quinn, John Davenport, John Rocklin, Kevin Wiles, and Mike Ryan. Steven J. Israel (born May 30, 1958) is an American political commentator, lobbyist, author, bookseller and former politician. He served as a U.S. Representative from New York from 2001 to 2017. A member of the Democratic Party, he was elected in until 2013 and until his retirement. William Rory Gallagher ( ; 2 March 1948 – 14 June 1995) was an Irish guitarist, singer, songwriter, and producer. Due to his virtuosic playing, but relative lack of fame compared to some others, he has been referred to as "the greatest guitarist you've never heard of", and strongly influenced other guitarists such as Brian May and Eric Clapton.
