Bangladesh Film Censor Board
The Bangladesh Film Certification Board is a regulatory agency that is responsible for the censorship of films and is located in Dhaka, Bangladesh. Predecessor The Bangladesh Film Censor Board board was set up in 1977 following the framing of Bangladesh Censorship of Film Rules. The agency is responsible for the censorship of locally produced movies and foreign imports, and acts as the registrar of film clubs in Bangladesh. Martuza Ahmed, the secretary of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting (Bangladesh), Ministry of Information, is the ex-officio chairman of the board. In 2015, the board blocked ''My Bicycle'' directed by Aung Rakhine, the first film in the Chakma language, Chakma language (a minority language) in Bangladesh. It also blocked a movie about the Rana Plaza collapse, Rana Plaza building collapse in which more than a thousand garment workers died. Quazi Nawshaba Ahmed
Quazi Nawshaba Ahmed is a Bangladeshi actress, voice artist, painter, puppeteer, director and a social activist. Background Ahmed studied at the Faculty of Fine Arts, University of Dhaka. Career Ahmed first acted in the film ''Udhao'' in 2008, which was released on 2013. She also acted in the film ''Chuye dile mon'' (2015) as a special appearance, but this film was not released due to funding issues. Mohammad Nazim Uddin is a Bangladeshi writer, publisher, and translator. Due to his specialization in English, he initially translated several popular English novels and later started to write on his own, which made him a popular writer in Bangladesh and India also. Ashfaque Nipun (born 26 August 1980) is a Bangladeshi filmmaker, screenwriter and actor best known for directing ''Mohanagar''.
