Bang Phai station ( th, สถานีบางไผ่, ) is a MRT (Bangkok), Bangkok MRT rapid transit station on the MRT Blue Line, Blue Line, located above Phet Kasem Road located in Bangkok, Thailand, in the area known as "Bang Phai" (the beginning of Khlong Phasi Charoen). Not to be confused with the Khlong Bang Phai MRT station, Khlong Bang Phai station on the MRT Purple Line, Purple Line. Wat Apson Sawan Worawihan ( th, วัดอัปสรสวรรค์วรวิหาร), also simply known as Wat Apson Sawan is an ancient Thai Buddhist temple more than 200 years in Bangkok. It is situated rim canal Khlong Dan bounded by other temple were famed Wat Paknam Bhasicharoen, Wat Nang Chi, and across the canal is Wat Khun Chan in Talat Phlu quarter. The temple is third classed royal monastery in Worawihan type. Wat Nuannoradit ( th, วัดนวลนรดิศ) is the 3rd ranked temple in Thailand. It is on the western side of the Khlong Bangkok Yai (Bangkok Yai canal) and opposite Wat Praduchimplee and Wat Nuan Noradit School. History Wat Nuannoradit is ancient and was deserted for a long time. Some people believe that it was built in the era of the Ayutthaya Kingdom. Wat Paknam Bhasicharoen ( th, วัดปากน้ำภาษีเจริญ, ) is a royal '' wat'' ('temple') located in Phasi Charoen district, Bangkok, at the Chao Phraya River. It is part of the Maha Nikaya fraternity and is the origin of the Dhammakaya tradition. It is a large and popular temple, supported by prosperous community members. Wat Paknam was established in 1610, during the Ayutthaya period, and received support from Thai kings until the late nineteenth century. By the beginning of the twentieth century, the temple had become nearly abandoned and had fallen into disrepair. Śarīra
Śarīra is a generic term referring to Buddhist relics, although in common usage it usually refers to pearl or crystal-like bead-shaped objects that are purportedly found among the cremated ashes of Buddhist spiritual masters. Relics of the Buddha after cremation are termed ''dhātu'' in the '' Mahaparinibbana Sutta''. Śarīra are held to emanate or incite 'blessings' and 'grace' (Sanskrit: adhiṣṭhāna) within the mindstream and experience of those connected to them. Sarira are also believed to ward off evil in the Himalayan Buddhist tradition. Terminology Śarīraḥ (pronounced /ɕɐɽiːɽɐh/) means "body" in Sanskrit.
