Bruce Broughton
Bruce Harold Broughton (born March 8, 1945) is an American orchestral composer of television, film, and video game scores and concert works. He has composed several highly acclaimed soundtracks over his extensive career and has contributed many pieces to music archives, including the 1994 version of the 20th Century Fox fanfare with short versions for 20th Century Fox Television and Foxstar Productions and conducting the Cinergi Pictures logo composed by Jerry Goldsmith. He has won ten Emmy Awards and has been nominated once for the Academy Award for Best Original Score. Broughton is currently a lecturer in composition at UCLA. ''Out of Africa'' is a 1985 American epic romantic drama film directed and produced by Sydney Pollack, and starring Meryl Streep and Robert Redford. The film is based loosely on the 1937 autobiographical book ''Out of Africa'' written by Isak Dinesen (the pseudonym of Danish author Karen Blixen), with additional material from Dinesen's 1960 book ''Shadows on the Grass'' and other sources. Universe Of Energy
The Universe of Energy was a pavilion on the eastern side of Epcot#Future World, Future World (now World Discovery) at Epcot, a theme park at the Walt Disney World Resort in Bay Lake, Florida. One of Epcot's opening day attractions in 1982, it explored the world of energy through four large-format film presentations and a slow-moving dark ride through a jungle diorama filled with Audio-Animatronics, audio-animatronic dinosaurs. In 1996, it was re-themed to Ellen's Energy Adventure, starring Ellen DeGeneres, Bill Nye, and Jamie Lee Curtis. Spaceship Earth is a dark ride attraction at the Epcot, EPCOT theme park at the Walt Disney World in Bay Lake, Florida. The geodesic dome, geodesic sphere in which the attraction is housed has served as the symbolic structure of EPCOT since the park opened in 1982. Alfred Newman (March 17, 1900 – February 17, 1970) was an American composer, arranger, and conductor of film music. From his start as a music prodigy, he came to be regarded as a respected figure in the history of film music.
