Broadway–City Hall Station
Broadway–City Hall is an underground station on the Canada Line of Metro Vancouver's SkyTrain rapid transit system. The station is located at the intersection of West Broadway and Cambie Street in Vancouver, British Columbia and is within walking distance of Vancouver City Hall, City Square Shopping Centre, Vancouver General Hospital and related facilities, as well as the surrounding Fairview and Mount Pleasant neighbourhoods. History Broadway–City Hall station was built in 2009 and opened along with the rest of the Canada Line. The station features large double-height ceilings over the platform area and was designed by the architecture firm VIA Architecture. In 2018, it was confirmed that the Millennium Line would be extended from its current terminus at VCC–Clark station west to Arbutus Street, and eventually to the University of British Columbia. Historic Broadway Station
Historic Broadway station is an underground light rail station on the A Line and the E Line of the Los Angeles Metro Rail system. It is located at the southeast corner of 2nd Street and Broadway in the Historic Core section of Downtown Los Angeles. In planning documents, the station was originally going to be named 2nd St/Broadway. The station is sited in a private right of way, requiring agreements with the property's owner before a high-rise could be built on the site in the future. It was constructed via the sequential excavation method, the first time Metro has utilized the process. The Canal Street station is a New York City Subway station complex. It is located in the Manhattan neighborhoods of Chinatown and SoHo, and is shared by the BMT Broadway Line, the IRT Lexington Avenue Line, and the BMT Nassau Street Line. It is served by the 6, J, N, and Q trains at all times; the R train at all times except late nights; the W train during weekdays; the <6> train during weekdays in the peak direction; the Z train during rush hours in the peak direction; and the 4 train during late nights. East Broadway (IND Sixth Avenue Line)
The East Broadway station is a station on the IND Sixth Avenue Line of the New York City Subway. Located at East Broadway and Rutgers Street in the Lower East Side, it is served by the F train at all times and the <F> train during rush hours in the peak direction. The East Broadway station was built for the Independent Subway System (IND)'s Sixth Avenue Line and opened on January 1, 1936. It contains one island platform and two tracks. The station was initially intended as an interchange station with the Worth Street Line underneath East Broadway, to be built as part of the IND Second System, although the other line was not completed. The Broadway Ferry station was a station on the demolished section of the BMT Jamaica Line in Brooklyn, New York City. This station opened on July 14, 1888, to serve the Broadway Ferry Broadway Ferry was a ferry landing in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, New York City, United States at the foot of Broadway. Boats connected it to the Grand Street Ferry, East 23rd Street Ferry, and James Slip landings in Manhattan. The Broadway station is a station on the IND Crosstown Line of the New York City Subway. Located at the intersection of Broadway and Union Avenue in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, it is served at all times by the G train. History This opened on July 1, 1937, as part of the extension of the Crosstown Line from Nassau Avenue to Hoyt-Schermerhorn Streets. Station layout This underground station has two tracks and two side platforms. The platforms have a light green trim line with a black border and mosaic name tablets reading "BROADWAY" in white sans-serif lettering on a black background and light green border. The I-beam columns in the entire station are dark grey-blue, with alternating ones on the platforms having the standard black station name plate in white lettering.
